  • Patent number: 11449697
Abstract: A test and measurement instrument for analyzing signals using machine learning. The test and measurement instrument can determine a recovered clock signal based on the digital signal, set window positions for a fast Fourier transform of the digital signal, window the digital signal into a series of windowed waveform data based on the window positions, transform each of the windowed waveform data into a frequency-domain windowed waveform data using a fast Fourier transform, and determine high-order spectrum data of each of the frequency-domain windowed waveform data. The test and measurement instrument includes a neural network configured to receive the high-order spectrum data of the frequency-domain windowed transform data and classify each windowed waveform data based on the high-order spectrum data.

  • Patent number: 11443575
Abstract: A system for providing gamification of a destination such as a theme park where guests use a venue app with an optional electronic ticket that allows for both self-serve access into the destination and tracking of individual guests throughout various access points. An extended range ID such as an RFID is provided to the guest either in the electronic ticket or in a wearable. Using combinations of RFID readers, pressure sensors and cameras the system tracks guests down the ride seat and tracks the movements of guided, free-floating and free-ranging vehicles. Using the combination of guest and vehicle tracking information along with information provided by a destination gaming system, the destination guest experience is customized including various effects for rides and attractions. Spot cameras are placed at tracked locations such as rides seats, where images are captured in response to either external triggers generated by the system or guest indications.

  • Patent number: 11392814
Abstract: Logic may detect a malfunctioning payment interface on a customer's payment instrument. Logic may receive transaction data about at least one transaction performed via a payment instrument associated with a customer. The transaction data may indicate a payment interface of the payment instrument through which the customer conducted the at least one transaction and the payment instrument may comprise one or more payment interfaces. Logic may determine, by a model, based on the transaction data, a probability of a malfunction by at least one interface of the one or more payment interfaces. The model may be trained based on a pattern of transactions associated with malfunctioning payment instruments. Logic may compare the probability of the transaction against a threshold. And logic may determine whether to contact a customer associated with the payment instrument, based comparison of the probability of the transaction against the threshold.

  • Patent number: 11392811
Abstract: In an illustrative system, a point-of-sale scanner is equipped to respond to multiple different symbologies printed on a single product. The scanner captures many frames per second, as products are swiped through a viewing volume. Each frame is decoded, yielding one or more payloads. A reconciliation module compares each newly-decoded payload against a list of payloads previously output by the module, to determine if the current payload is semantically-equivalent to a previously-output payload. If so, the previously-output payload is output again, in lieu of the just-decoded payload. If no equivalent is found, the current payload is output and added to the list for comparison against future payloads. A great number of other features and arrangements are also detailed.
