  • Patent number: 9842324
Abstract: A banknote processing device includes a first pay-out port and a second pay-out port in which banknotes for pay-out are stacked, a conveyance section that conveys banknotes to the first pay-out port or to the second pay-out port, a first opening-closing member capable of opening and closing the first pay-out port by moving, a second opening-closing member capable of opening and closing the second pay-out port by moving, and a controller that controls conveyance of the banknotes by the conveyance section, and that controls opening and closing operations of the first and second opening-closing members. When the number of banknotes stacked in the first pay-out port has reached a maximum stacking number in pay-out processing, the controller performs a switching operation to switch a conveyance destination of the banknotes from the first pay-out port to the second pay-out port, and performs an opening operation to open the first opening-closing member.

  • Patent number: 9378664
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that provides data associated with a financial instrument through real-time virtual animation anchored to the financial instrument in a video stream. During operation, the system receives at a computer system a video stream, wherein the video stream includes an image of a financial instrument, and wherein a financial instrument is a physical object that is associated with at least one of a financial account and financial data. Next, the system identifies the financial instrument in the video stream. The system then retrieves data associated with the financial instrument from a data source. Next, the system creates an animation which displays the data. Once the animation is created, the system anchors the animation to the financial instrument in the video stream. Finally, the system displays the video stream which includes the animation to a user.

  • Patent number: 9342963
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for implementing a self-service terminal (“SST”) monitoring, notification and maintenance system. Embodiments of the proposed invention may simplify a task of locating an operational SST having a specific operational status and/or capability within a geographic area. Embodiments may automatically determine and monitor an operational status and/or capabilities of a SST. The operational status may include an operational status indicative of a SST that need servicing or repair. A location of a device used to submit a request for SST information may be automatically determined. Location, operational status and directions on how to locate a specific SST within a distance of the determined location may be transmitted in response to a request for SST information. The operational status of multiple SSTs within a geographic area may be monitored.

  • Patent number: 8768809
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing financial data to measure the liquidity risk for a client involve, for example, implementing, using a computer having a processor coupled to memory, client-defined templates for a cash flow forecasting module. Also using the computer, forecast data for the client may be received via the client-defined templates by the cash flow forecasting module. Likewise using the computer, a real-time predictive aggregated measure of available cash flow for the client by currency by value date is generated by the cash flow forecasting module. In addition, a real time measure of forecast variance is computed by the cash flow forecasting module through pseudo logic matching of the actual cash flows at transaction level against the likely much higher level at which the forecasting process is operating.

  • Patent number: 8732027
Abstract: A method and system facilitate a transaction via a network-based transaction facility. For example, a pre-order relating to an item is recorded in a database; a plurality of offers to sell the item is received; and a matching operation to detect a correspondence between the pre-order and the plurality of offers is automatically performed using processor-implemented logic. The pre-order is set to a reserve state in the database based on at least one offer of the plurality of offers matching the preorder, in which the reserve state reserves the at least one offer pending establishment of a transaction for the at least one offer.
