  • Patent number: 7388570
Abstract: A digital controlled multi-light driving apparatus. The driving apparatus includes a plurality of oscillation step-up circuits and a digital control circuit. The digital control circuit electrically connects to each of the oscillation step-up circuits, respectively. The digital control circuit generates sets of digital switching signals, which are phase controllable and duty cycle controllable, and respectively transmits the sets of digital switching signals to the oscillation step-up circuits. The phases and duty cycles of the digital switching signals are controlled by the digital control circuit.

  • Patent number: 7379032
Abstract: A plasma display device is provided that can realize a stable progressive display using a plasma display panel that has a shared type arrangement form of display electrodes. A plasma display panel structure including display electrodes having a shape that has little variation of electrode area between cells and a driving sequence are combined in which the addressing step is divided into the first half and the second half. One of the first half addressing and the second half addressing is performed for a row on which the first display electrode is arranged that has an odd arrangement order when noting only the first display electrodes that are not used for row selection, and the other of the first half addressing and the second half addressing is performed for a row on which the first display electrode is arranged that has an even arrangement order.

  • Patent number: 7355588
Abstract: A light control module appropriate for an optical pointing device. The light control module comprises a processing unit outputting a first signal and a second signal, a photo sensor unit executing a capture operation according to an impulse of the first signal, and a light emitting unit executing a light emitting operation according to an impulse of the second signal, wherein when a frequency value of the first signal is less than a first preset value, at least one impulse is inserted between two successive impulses of the second signal for adjusting a frequency value of the second signal such that an equivalent frequency value corresponding to any two successive impulses of the second signal is greater than a second preset value, thus rendering flickers of the light emitting unit imperceptible.

  • Patent number: 7333097
Abstract: A system for translating a portrait-oriented software address to a portrait-oriented yet landscape-configured display address. Based on the orientation of a display device, an address translation system either passes the software address “as is” or translates the address to represent a portrait-oriented display address. A refresh address generator operates alternatively in column-forward and column-reverse modes, and additionally operates alternatively in row forward and row reverse modes to selectively rotate the image.
