  • Patent number: 11326372
Abstract: A motor vehicle door lock comprises a ratchet-type mechanism having a pawl and a rotary latch. The motor vehicle door lock is also provided with a release lever for the ratchet-type mechanism and at least one actuation lever and a blocking element. The blocking element brings about a mechanical connection during normal operation and a mechanical separation, when operating in the event of an accident, between the actuation lever and the release lever. According to the invention, the blocking element is configured as a coupling lever mounted on the actuation lever, which pivots independently from the actuation lever applied with spring force when operating in the event of an accident.

  • Patent number: 11242699
Abstract: A closing aid for a motor-vehicle lock enables fast opening for a lock having a rotary latch. The rotary latch is latched by at least one pawl in a preliminary latching position and in a main latching position. The closing aid comprises a motor, by which the rotary latch is moved by motor force from the preliminary latching position into the main latching position such that an associated door or flap of a motor vehicle can be closed. The closing aid has a movable closing pawl for closing by motor force. By the motion of the closing pawl by the motor from an initial position into an end position along a first path, the rotary latch is brought from the preliminary latching position into the main latching position. The return motion of the closing pawl from the end position into the initial position occurs along a different, second path.

  • Patent number: 11131128
Abstract: A door handle arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a support, a handle which can take a basic position and an operating position, and a drive element which, during normal operation, moves the handle out of the basic position and into the operating position. The handle in its operating position can be grasped by an operator in order to open the door. In an emergency operation, the handle is designed to be movable manually into an emergency operating position in which it is pivoted about a first axis that is oriented transversely with respect to a longitudinal direction of the support. A first longitudinal portion of the handle is pivoted in the direction of the support and a second longitudinal portion protrudes out of the door so as to be able to be grasped by an operator.
