Abstract: Techniques are described for generating a set of emotion factor values using one or more machine learning models for customer communications. For example, a computing system includes one or more processors in communication with a memory. The one or more processors are configured to receive communication data of a current communication associated with a customer, apply the communication data to an emotion-based indexer as input wherein the emotion-based indexer includes a set of machine-learning models for a set of emotion factors, generate as output from the emotion-based indexer a set of emotion factor values for the current communication wherein each emotion factor value indicates the measure of a particular emotion factor in the current communication, apply the set of emotion factor values to an emotion classification model, and classify the current communication into an emotion state based on the set of emotion factor values.

Abstract: Various embodiments leverage artificial intelligence in identifying and potentially resolving compliance issues (e.g., with regulatory requirements, client-specified requirements, certification conditions, etc.), or preventing violations of law, rules and regulations. The AI can be configured to automatically generate requests for information. For example, a system analysis component can be configured to identify a specific compliance target (e.g., a branch location) and select or automatically generate questions to collect responsive information to ensure compliance, identify potential violations, and define any evidence required to identify or resolve issues (e.g., prove compliance, support potential violations, flagged issues, etc.). According to one example, the system can use trained AI models to analyze a set of rules and/or requirements to efficiently build questionnaires to address or demonstrate compliance.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to real-time invoice error prevention. Embodiments include receiving a value related to an item or service during creation of an invoice by a user via a user interface, and determining a user-level mean and a user-level standard deviation related to the value based on historical invoices of the user. Embodiments include determining a global mean and a global standard deviation related to the value based on historical invoices of a plurality of users. Embodiments include selecting weights for the user-level mean, the user-level standard deviation, the global mean, and the global standard deviation based on a total number of the historical invoices of the user. Embodiments include determining an expected range for the value based on the user-level mean, the user-level standard deviation, the global mean, the global standard deviation, and the weights. Embodiments include determining that the value is outside the expected range.

Abstract: A digital recruitment system and a method to enable a candidate to create, edit, upload a multimedia comprising a job application comprising video, audio etc. in one or more sections to apply for a job is provided. Further, the system allows the candidate and recruiter(s) to exchange information with each other via videos (or multimedia), video chats, audio chats, etc. The system protects a job application and/or a multimedia response from the recruiter from editing by a third person other than an owner, wherein the candidate is the owner of the job application and the recruiter is the owner of the multimedia response. The system may embed time and location information into the multimedia; therefore, the system allows the users (candidate and recruiters) to generate authentic multimedia. Further, the system may augment more information in the multimedia automatically or based on an input from the owner of the multimedia.

Abstract: A method and system of providing customer-specific information and guidance to support agents during calls with customers. The information includes a summary of in-app activity by the customer prior to the call between the customer and a support agent. The method includes receiving and storing the in-app activity in an activity record associated with the customer's account. The activity record is retrieved in response to a communication session being initiated or occurring between the customer and support agent and presented to the support agent in order to facilitate the conversation and expedite the resolution process.

Abstract: A server has a service providing unit. The service providing unit determines whether a device already subscribes to at least one of one or more second services, in response to receiving a service request intended for a first service from an information processing apparatus. The first service includes a first function at least partially overlapping a second function of the one or more second services. The service providing unit guides a cancellation of a subscription for the second service to which the device already subscribes, in a case where it is determined that the device already subscribes to at least one of the one or more second services.

Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards devices (nonhuman entities) participating in social networks. Devices that join a nonhuman social network can share information, can learn from other devices, can assist in performing tasks and so forth. A device can search for an existing nonhuman social network that matches its criteria for joining a nonhuman social network, such as a nonhuman social network of the same type of devices, a nonhuman social network within a certain neighborhood, and so on. A device can form a nonhuman social network if one does not exist that meets the device's social network join criteria. A device's user may need to give approval to join and/or form a social network. A human social network can interact with a nonhuman social network, and there can be hybrid social networks of both human and nonhuman entities. A device can change social networks over time.

Abstract: In an information collecting system, an information collecting device managed by the designated institution sets information acquisition spaces where acquisition of personal information of residents in the region is allowed and information acquisition prohibited spaces where acquisition of personal information of residents is prohibited, the information collecting device transmits space information corresponding to spaces in which information acquisition terminals are located, for information acquisition terminals which are located in information acquisition spaces and information acquisition prohibited spaces and which allow acquisition of personal information of residents, and the information acquisition terminal determines that personal information acquired by an information acquisition terminal is not to be transmitted to an information collecting device when the information acquisition terminal is located in an information acquisition prohibited space, based on the received space information.

The method, computer program products, and systems can include, for instance: receiving personal inputs regarding a first individual, the first individual previously having given informed consent, automatically generating a work profile for the first individual based on the plurality of personal inputs; based on the work profile of the first individual and a preexisting work profile of a second individual, predicting a work affinity indicator for the first individual and the second individual, the predicting including using an affinity model trained via ensemble learning; and providing the work affinity indicator to a user for optional consideration in making a work-related or employment-related decision.

Abstract: A computer-based system, and a computer-implemented method, mentors students, particularly women and ethnic and racial minorities, intending to enter healthcare professions. The system uses a gamified mobile-enabled web application (App) that serves as a visual and interactive dashboard populated with checklists, career support resources, strategies, tips, and a mentoring platform to educate, encourage, empower, and facilitate the entry of students into the healthcare professions.

Abstract: A group division method based on a social relationship in combination with a selfish preference order is provided, the method includes the following steps: step 1, forming a preliminary group by simulating choices of users to gather into groups for sharing cost based on social values of the users; and step 2, drawing up combining and splitting rules according to a selfish preference order, subjecting the groups obtained in step 1 to combining or splitting on a basis of the combining and splitting rules, and ending the combining or splitting upon reaching a Nash equilibrium point, thereby obtaining stable groups. In the scenario of a static game with complete information, a Nash equilibrium point is found out based on the combination of a social relationship and a selfish preference order, so that the stability of group division is improved, and extreme users are removed.

Abstract: A computing device for organizing a collaborative workspace for a user implements providing, using a display of the computing device, an interactive user interface associated with the collaborative workspace in which the user may work on a shared task in a coordinated fashion with other users; identifying, based on one or more factors, one or more activities specific to the user from within the collaborative workspace; assigning the identified one or more activities to a catch-up list associated with the user; displaying, within the interactive user interface, the catch-up list; detecting that at least one of the one or more activities has been addressed from within the collaborative workspace or the catch-up list; and updating, based on the detection, the collaborative workspace and the catch-up list.

Abstract: A system and method for managing pipeline operations, information, and equipment is provided. The system generally comprises a processor, pipeline equipment operably connected to the processor, power supply, and non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon. The system may also comprise a computing device having a user interface that may allow a user to view/alter data of the system. The system may advise users whether they are qualified to work on a piece of pipeline equipment and generate scores that rate the chance that pipeline equipment may pass inspection.

Abstract: The present invention is a system guiding an evacuation route for occupants using an augmented reality of mobile devices. The system includes: an occupant's mobile device installed with an evacuation guidance application for showing an evacuation route from a current location of the occupant to an evacuation point in the occurrence of a disaster; and a server providing a plurality of evacuation route information to the mobile device, wherein the mobile device executes the evacuation guidance application to display an evacuation guidance interface, displays a captured landscape image on an image display area of the evacuation guidance interface, displays one of the plurality of evacuation routes set based on specific information related to the type of disaster, the user's exercise ability, and personal conditions on a map display area of the evacuation guidance interface.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for enhancing a merchant product webpage by providing additional content associated with a product being displayed on the merchant product webpage. A product catalog stores product records corresponding to data associated with different products. As a webpage is accessed by a user device, data is extracted from the merchant product webpage. The extracted data is used to identify one or more product records in the product catalog that are potential matches to the webpage. When multiple product records are identified, a remote server is used to access and interact with the webpage separate from the user device. Additional data is extracted from the webpage based on interactions by the remote server with the webpage. The additional data is used to determine a single product record for the webpage. The webpage is modified based on the single product record.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices disclosed herein can collect digital witness statements (e.g., on a witness's own mobile device), detect when witnesses are accessing electronic resources during preparation of those digital witness statements, elicit input from witnesses to identify the electronic resources accessed, and detect portions of the digital witness statements that may have been influenced by data procured from those electronic resources. Furthermore, the systems, methods, and devices disclosed herein can generate an indication of consistency between content found in the electronic resources and content found in the digital witness statements so that a degree to which the electronic resources influenced the witness statements can be inferred.
