  • Patent number: 9231353
Abstract: The present invention relates to a socket having loading detecting function, which comprises: a housing; at least a socket; a sensor; a relay; a detection circuit capable of detecting the loading value of the socket; and a control unit. The control unit can be used for recording the maximum of the loading value, and said maximum is multiplied by an coefficient thereby obtaining a first threshold value; meanwhile comparing the loading value to the first threshold value and a second threshold value, when the loading value is lower than both of the first threshold value and the second threshold value, the control unit terminates the relay after a second time period for cutting off the electric source of the socket.

  • Patent number: 9211953
Abstract: An equipment module for a vehicle comprises a floor element, at least one first inductive coupling element and at least one electronics unit. The floor element comprises at least one attachment means, which can be reached from the top, for attaching items of equipment, and on the underside at least one retaining means for attaching the floor element at a positioning space in a vehicle. The first inductive coupling element is arranged on the floor element and is connected to at least one electronics unit. The electronics unit is adapted for providing an identification signal by way of the first inductive coupling element, which identification signal makes it possible to identify the equipment module. The invention makes it possible to quickly reconfigure a cabin of a vehicle, and makes it possible for the vehicle to quickly identify all the reconfigurable installations for adapting items of equipment on the vehicle side.

  • Patent number: 9142969
Abstract: A system to store and to transmit electrical power includes at least one storage system, at least one bidirectional converter, and at least one load coupled to a network, wherein the load is adapted to both, receive electrical power from the network and supply electrical power to the network. A first storage system is used to store electrical power of a power source. The first storage system is connected to a first bidirectional converter by a DC power transmission system. The first bidirectional converter is connected to an AC network and the AC network is connected to a first load.

  • Patent number: 9136840
Abstract: A method of activating a proximity switch is provided. The method of activating the proximity switch includes the step of sensing a signal associated with a proximity sensor and sensing a dynamic parameter. The method also includes the step of tuning a threshold value based on the sensed dynamic parameter. The method further includes the step of activating the switch based on the signal and the threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9086869
Abstract: A power control device is provided. The power control device includes a power supply unit, a reset unit, and a power control unit. The power supply unit determines whether a supplied voltage from an external voltage supply source is being provided to the power supply unit to generate a determination signal. The power supply unit further generates an operation voltage and a standby voltage according to the supplied voltage. The reset unit receives the determination signal and the standby voltage and generates a reset signal according to the determination signal and the standby voltage to activate a reset operation. The power control unit receives the reset signal and generates a power enabling signal according to the reset signal. The power supply unit outputs the operation voltage or does not according to the power enabling signal.

  • Patent number: 9078403
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods of repairing a sprinkler system with faulty wiring between the controller and a one or more of the valves, and associated repaired systems. The method includes identifying the faulty electrically conductive line having electrical discontinuity between the controller and a corresponding first valve, and identifying a non-faulty electrically conductive line having electrical continuity between a controller and corresponding second valve. Control over the first valve is achieved by sharing the non-faulty electrically conductive line between the second valve and the first valve. Forked wiring segments are inserted on both the controller end and the valve end of the non-faulty line. Each inserted wire segment includes a diode to permit current to flow in only one direction allowing both valves to be controlled through only a single shared “hot” line.
