Abstract: A color image processing apparatus includes a setting device for setting one of a single side mode and a two side mode as an image forming mode and a color processing device for color processing color image data on the basis of the image forming mode set by the setting device to produce color processed color image data. Also included is an output device for outputting the color processed color image data to a color image forming unit.
Abstract: A laser beam printer includes a movable mirror which is rotated by a scan mirror motor. Laser light is alternately deflected toward an information reading station and an information writing station by applying the laser light to the movable mirror from a semiconductor laser. The laser light is switched between writing-use light and reading-use light at the time the movable mirror is rotated through a predetermined angle. In the laser beam printer having the semiconductor laser which is used for both writing and reading information, information is written and read out during one rotation of the movable mirror. It is therefore possible to perform a reading operation and a writing operation simultaneously by simply switching the laser light at the predetermined time depending on the rotation angle of the movable mirror.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus capable of connecting a plurality of types of printers including an ink-jet printer, includes a connection unit for electrically connecting a printer, a discrimination unit for discriminating a type of printer connected to the connection unit, a selection unit for, when the discrimination unit discriminates the ink-jet printer, selecting a presence/absence of setting of an ink fixing time, and a setting unit for, when the selection unit selects the presence of setting of the fixing time, allowing setting of the ink fixing time.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus provided with a post-processing device for performing a post-processing on an image-formed sheet includes a unit for reading an image on an original and a mark on a mark sheet, a unit for forming an image data read by the reading unit on a sheet of paper by performing a predetermined processing on the read image data, and a unit for controlling a direction of the image data to be formed on the sheet of paper for performing the post-processing done by the post-processing device at a specified place of the image-formed sheet of paper based on the location of the mark on the mark sheet read by the reading unit.
Abstract: An image communication system equipped with an ink jet printer having multiple ink orifices permits excellent images without ink stains. The system includes a heat fusing device actuated in accordance with reception of a call signal, and image data is received after the temperature of the heat fusing device has reached to a predetermined temperature. If the predetermined temperature is not attained within a predetermined time, an error alarm is output.
Abstract: An electronic image processing apparatus having image processing resources including a controller for directing the operation of the image processing resources, the controller including a disk memory, the method of controlling mass memory device bandwidth access during an access time window including guaranteeing access to the memory for predetermined time periods for a first set of image processing resources during each access time window, a second set of image processing resources having access subordinate to the first set of image processing resources, maintaining a record of mass memory device access for the first set of image processing resources during each access time window, receiving a memory access request from the first set of image processing resources, determining that said resource utilization does not exceed the predetermined time period, and allowing current access to the mass memory device by the image processing resource.
