  • Patent number: 11302306
Abstract: A sound recognition system including time-dependent analog filtered feature extraction and sequencing. An analog front end (AFE) in the system receives input analog signals, such as signals representing an audio input to a microphone. Features in the input signal are extracted, by measuring such attributes as zero crossing events and total energy in filtered versions of the signal with different frequency characteristics at different times during the audio event. In one embodiment, a tunable analog filter is controlled to change its frequency characteristics at different times during the event. In another embodiment, multiple analog filters with different filter characteristics filter the input signal in parallel, and signal features are extracted from each filtered signal; a multiplexer selects the desired features at different times during the event.

  • Patent number: 11282526
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing audio signals containing speech data are disclosed. Biometric data associated with at least one speaker are extracted from an audio input. A match is determined between the extracted biometric data and stored biometric data associated with a consenting user profile, where a consenting user profile is a user profile associated with a record indicating consent to store biometric data. If a match is determined to exist with such a profile, the speech data is stored in an archive after processing. If no such match is determined, or if the extracted biometric data includes data from a speaker not having a consenting user profile, the speech data is discarded, optionally after having been processed. The system and method provides a safeguard against transferring to storage data of users, particularly minors or children, for whom a verified and valid consent has not been obtained from an authorised adult.

  • Patent number: 11263407
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to organizing conversation information. Two or more machine learning (ML) models and a plurality of sentences provided from a conversation may be employed to generate insight scores for each sentence such that each insight score correlates to a probability that its sentence includes one or more of an action or a question. In response to one or more sentences having insight scores that exceed a threshold value an information score and a definiteness score may be determined for the one or more sentences. And one or more insights associated with the conversation may be generated based on the one or more sentences. A report may be generated that associates the one or more insights with one or more portions of the conversation that include the one or more sentences that are associated with the insights.
