Abstract: Techniques for converting desktop applications into cloud services are provided. In one embodiment, a server system can receive a representation of an application that has been extracted from an installation of the application on an end-user computing device. The representation can include a collection of files and configuration information associated with the application. The server system can then store the representation of the application in a server-side repository for deployment as a cloud service.

Abstract: What is disclosed is a software interface tool for breast cancer screening that is designed for medical professionals to view and analyze suspicious regions for hot spots and hence facilitate a determination of whether identified areas of breast tissue are cancerous. Isotherm maps are constructed at designated temperature resolution. Maps are displayed on the screen. Point & click on the isotherm map can extract temperature values of pixels within the region covered by the isotherm contours. Also provided are isothermic views at different viewing angles which is advantageous for visual detection. Additional functionalities for hotspot selection, cropping, zooming, viewing at different angles, etc. are also enabled by the present software interface. The present software interface further utilizes a tumor detection method which is also disclosed herein.

Abstract: The present disclosure may provide a mobile terminal including a body having a front surface, a rear surface and a lateral surface thereof, a display unit disposed on the front surface to display first screen information, a lateral touch sensing unit formed on the lateral surface adjacent to both edges of the display unit to receive a user's consecutive touch input, and a controller configured to control the display unit to display second screen information in one region on the display unit corresponding to a touch range of the consecutive touch input.

Abstract: An example method for facilitating software navigation includes storing navigation history information pertaining to user interaction with software; displaying one or more representations of breadcrumbs in accordance with the navigation history information, resulting in displayed breadcrumbs; detecting when a number of breadcrumbs exceeds a threshold number of breadcrumbs; and replacing, in response to the detection, one or more of the breadcrumbs with a user interface control adapted to selectively display representations of the one or more breadcrumbs in response to user selection of the user interface control. Hence, certain breadcrumbs of a breadcrumb trail may be condensed or collapsed, e.g., into a drop-down menu control, when a breadcrumb trail would otherwise be too large to display.

The managing device returns one or more UI modules to the managed device that are appropriate as based upon the received UI functionality or UI requirement information. The managing device may further assemble one or more UI modules that are appropriate as based upon the received UI functionality or UI requirement information and provide the assembled UI module to a user of the managing device.
