Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed for statistically associating mobile devices and non-mobile devices with geographic areas. One of the methods includes for each selected mobile device of a plurality of mobile devices, receiving latitude-longitude pairs for the selected mobile device, the latitude-longitude pairs corresponding to a location of the selected mobile device during a time period. The plurality of latitude-longitude pairs are organized into clusters, with the clusters corresponding to geographic regions visited by the selected mobile device during the time period. A score is calculated for each cluster, the score representing a likelihood that a user of the selected mobile device resides in a household within the cluster. A location of the user's household is identified to be within one of the geographic areas corresponding to the cluster having the highest score. The mobile device is associated with the geographic area having the highest score.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to associate geographic locations with user devices. An example apparatus includes a network classifier to classify a network that connects a user device to an audience measurement entity based on source identifying information transmitted from the user device and a location mapper to determine a geographic location associated with an impression indicated by media identifying information based on a location identifier including at least one of a network address included in the source identifying information and a first mapping that maps the network address to the geographic location when the network is a fixed network and location services information included in the source identifying information and a second mapping that maps the location services information to the geographic location when the network is a mobile network.

Abstract: Tier switching of spectrum access priority tier levels for networks in a multi-tier level spectrum access system is disclosed. The tier switching may be based on conditions in the networks to allow more efficient network/system operation. In an implementation, the switching of tier levels may be a swap of tier levels between a network/device and another network/device. In this case, the tier level of a network/device is switched or swapped with the tier level of another network/device and each network device operates at the tier level of the other network/device. In another implementation, the switching of tier levels may be a switching of tier levels used by a single network or a single device without any swap occurring with another network or device. In this case, the tier level of a network or device may be switched to another tier level for operation in the SAS.

Abstract: A method of customizing hardware by an end user for a mobile phone is provided. The method includes receiving from an end-user a selection of a mobile phone shell from a set of mobile phone shells, sending to the end-user a subset of interchangeable hardware components having different functions, and receiving from the end-user a selection of at least one hardware component from the subset of interchangeable hardware components. Abstract: A received first DCI comprises: a first trigger field (indicating that the first DCI is triggered in response to a second DCI comprising a second trigger), a validation field (indicating a validation duration for receiving the second DCI validating the first DCI), a hybrid retransmission request (HARQ) identifier field, and a new data identifier (NDI) field. TBs are created in response to the first DCI. In response to monitoring not detecting the second DCI: the first DCI is invalidated and transmission of TBs dropped; the HARQ process ID and the NDI are stored; and the first TBs are stored in a HARQ buffer. A third DCI indicating a same value of the HARQ process ID is received. Uplink signals are transmitted in response to the third DCI. The stored NDI are employed to determine an adaptive-retransmission of the TBs or a new transmission of second TBs.

Abstract: Provided is a computer implemented method and system for delivering text messages, emails, and messages from a messenger application to a user while the user is engaged in an activity, such as driving, exercising, or working. Typically, the emails and other messages are announced to the user and read aloud without any user input. In Drive Mode, while the user is driving, a clean interface is shown to the user, and the user can hear announcements and messages/emails aloud without looking at the screen of the phone, and use gestures to operate the phone. After a determination is made that a new text message and/or email has arrived, the user is informed aloud of the text message/email/messenger message and in most instances, and if the user takes no further action, the body and/or subject of the text message/email/messenger message is read aloud to the user. All messages can be placed in a single queue, and read to the user in order of receipt.
Abstract: A system for controlling, monitoring, and recording of wireless telecommunications services associated with penal institutions is provided comprising a portable electronic device and application executing on the device that present a listing of available call destinations based on receiving a first instruction from a first authorized party possessing the device. The application receives a second instruction comprising a choice of a first call destination from the listing. The application transmits a third instruction requesting connection with the destination and joins a second authorized party associated with the first call destination in a first voice session. The application joins the first authorized party to the first session. The application further joins the first party to a second voice session initiated by the second party based on determining that the second party initiated the second session from the first destination.
Abstract: A network device can be placed in a central location to detect and disseminate mobile device data via a wireless network. The network device actions can be determined by an end-user device that receives subscription-based data. The end-user can determine parameters for communication between the network, network device, and the mobile device and determine actions based on the communication.
