Abstract: The present invention relates to a handle assembly (100) for an implant delivery device for folding or unfolding at least one medical implant by means of at least one tension thread, wherein the handle assembly (100) comprises a drum (14) for winding the tension thread thereon by rotating the drum (14); a knob (9) to be rotated by a user of the handle assembly (100) in order to fold or unfold the medical implant by tightening or winding the tension thread or by releasing or unwinding the tension thread, the knob (9) being arranged or interconnected with the drum (14) such that the drum (14) may be rotated when the knob (9) is rotated; and a brake frame assembly (25) comprising at least one brake element and at least one spring (256, 257) arranged to act on the brake element such that the brake elements contact one surface of the rear knob (9).
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cannula. The cannula includes a shaft having a distal end and a proximal end and a handle coupled to the proximal end of the shaft. The distal end of the shaft includes a tip having a spherical radius.

Abstract: A device (100) for creating a tunnel through soft tissue, comprises an elongated insertion member including a lumen extending therethrough to a distal opening, the elongated insertion member being sized to be inserted into the body via an opening of no more than 35 mm diameter and a tunneling member (108) received in the lumen for movement between an insertion configuration in which a tissue penetrating distal tip is received within the lumen and a tunneling configuration in which the distal tip extends distally from the distal opening by a desired distance in combination with a handle (104) coupled to a proximal end of the insertion member, the handle remaining outside the body and including a first actuator (106) for moving the tunneling member between the insertion and tunneling configurations.
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for connecting a medical implant to an insertion aid, comprising: a first spiral connecting device at the proximal end of the medical implant, a second spiral connecting device at the distal end of the insertion aid, a core wire, which in a first operating state of the system fixes the first spiral connecting device and the second spiral connecting device in relation to one another, wherein in the first operating state the first spiral connecting device and the second spiral connecting device at least partially engage in one another and the core wire extends through the first spiral connecting device and the second spiral connecting device.
Abstract: A lancing device with a depth-adjustment mechanism including an adjustably-positioned stop surface, a movable control member operably coupled thereto, and a resiliently deflectable leg that engages the stop surface and a lancet carrier to provide a soft stop for the lancet carrier. The lancet carrier deflects the leg in a forward phase of the lancing stroke, and then the leg contacts the stop surface to stop the forward motion of the lancet carrier at an extended lancing position. The stop surface can be adjustably positioned so that different portions thereof are engaged to stop the lancet carrier at deeper or shallower positions. In example embodiments, the depth-adjustment mechanism includes a rotary dial and an extension arm of the leg, with the dial including a rotary wheel and a rotary shaft extending axially therefrom, the wheel forming the movable adjustment member, and the shaft forming the adjustably positioned stop surface.
