  • Patent number: 12496066
Abstract: A handle assembly for a surgical stapler can comprise a rotatable actuation shaft. The actuation shaft can have a first rotational orientation in which it can actuate a jaw assembly in a repeatable open and close mode, a second rotational orientation in which it can actuate a jaw assembly in a staple firing mode, and a third rotational orientation in which it can actuate a jaw assembly in a reversing mode. The handle assembly can include a rotational mechanism arranged to discretely position the rotatable actuation shaft in one of the rotational orientations. The rotational mechanism can be arranged for single handed operation such as by including a slidable switch or selector to rotate the actuation shaft.

  • Patent number: 12446880
Abstract: A surgical stapling instrument. Various embodiments include an actuation system for selectively generating a plurality of control motions. A surgical end effector is operably coupled to the actuation system. The actuation system interfaces with an actuation member configured to operably engage rotatable camming members to fire staples within the end effector into forming contact with an anvil portion of the end effector.

  • Patent number: 12351989
Abstract: A spiker anvil is provided for use in a rail fastener driving workhead unit. Included in the present spiker anvil is a head with an outer periphery, the head outer periphery including an indentation that mates with a hammer pin of the rail fastener driving workhead unit. Also included in the spiker anvil is a body defining a body outer periphery and a tip defining a tip outer periphery, a substantially flat bottom surface, a first chamfer and a second chamfer, the bottom surface being perpendicular to the tip outer periphery, and the first and second chamfer connecting the bottom surface and the tip outer periphery. Further, the spiker anvil includes a cavity within the tip with an opening in the bottom surface and an insert placed within the cavity, such that the insert includes an end which extends beyond the bottom surface.

  • Patent number: 12318902
Abstract: A staple driving tool that is dumbbell shaped having a first end, a second end, and a handle intermediate the first and second ends. The first end includes a staple receiving slot. The slot includes a concealed or recessed magnet to secure the staple within the slot for driving the staple into a support (i.e., a fence post). The second end has a flat surface for striking with a hammer to drive the staple into the post. The staple driving tool is generally symmetrical along a first axis, with the first and second end having a larger circumference than the handle. Alternatively, the staple receiving slot may be a cruciform slot. The cruciform slot has a first slot having a first length and a second slot having a second length, where the first slot is perpendicular to the second slot, and the first length is greater than the second length.

  • Patent number: 12286258
Abstract: A packer machine for producing of pouches containing loose product, includes a conveyor device to move a band of wrapping material along a packing path; a wrapping station arranged along the path at which the band of wrapping material is wrapped to form a tubular wrap; a longitudinal sealing unit to seal the wrap in an overlapping section of the band; a feeding device with a feeding duct around which the band is bent to form the tubular wrap and which can feed the loose product into the wrap; a transverse sealing unit downstream of the longitudinal sealing unit configured to seal each tubular wrap to form an alternating succession of sealing sections and sections with loose product; and upper and lower sucking device arranged between the longitudinal sealing unit and the transverse sealing unit above and below the path, respectively, with upper and lower suction openings facing the path.

  • Patent number: 12162123
Abstract: A pneumatic fastener driving tool that forces pressurized gas from a gas supply source into a chamber above a piston enclosed in a working cylinder. During an operational cycle, the pressurized gas is released, forcing the piston to fire. The firing valve seals the pressurized gas utilizing two rolling diaphragm seals, thereby providing less breakdown of hardware and removing the need for lubricant within the firing valve. These diaphragm seals exhibit a smaller diameter than prior diaphragms used in similar pneumatic fastener driving tools.
