  • Patent number: 11218454
Abstract: A message is received which indicates a request for a client-specific service address for service or content provided by a service provider. In response to the request, a client-specific service address may be generated and sent to the client. The address may be used as a destination address in one or more subsequent client requests for service or content. A first portion of the address comprises an IPv6 service prefix assigned to a service network of the service provider. A second portion of the address comprises semantic information having a first portion of encrypted private information and a second portion of unencrypted service information. The encrypted private information may be generated by encrypting private information based on a cryptographic key, where the cryptographic key is derived based on a secret key associated with the service provider and an IP client prefix assigned to the client.

  • Patent number: 11216290
Abstract: A user device executes a web application on the user device and transmits a request to an application execution server. The request requests that a background process associated with the web application be started at the application execution server. The user device adds an icon associated with the web application to a user interface of the user device, and closes execution of the web application on the user device. The user device changes an appearance of the icon in response to receiving a notification from the background process.

  • Patent number: 11212333
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for synchronizing packet streams and in particular to the synchronization of transcoded and/or transrated Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) packet streams, e.g., transcoded and/or transrated RTP packet streams carrying audio and/or video data. In one embodiment, a packet processing device receives packets of a first RTP packet stream and a first RTCP packet stream and generates a second RTP packet stream from the first RTP packet stream and generates a second RTCP packet stream from the first RTCP packet stream. The second RTP packet stream including packets with timestamps different than packets of the first RTP packet stream. The second RTCP packet stream including NTP timestamps received in or based on the NTP timestamps of the first RTCP packet stream and associated with RTP timestamps corresponding to content in the second RTP packet stream which was generated by transrating or trancoding content in the first RTP packet stream.

  • Patent number: 11212368
Abstract: In various embodiments, a proxy application processes requests associated with a network-based service. In operation, the proxy application determines that a first request received from a client application indicates that a response to the first request can be offloaded from a server machine. Prior to transmitting the first request to the server machine, the proxy application transmits a response to the first request to the client application. The response indicates that the server machine has successfully processed the first request. Advantageously, upon receiving the response, the client application is able to initiate a second request irrespective of the server machine.

  • Patent number: 11212366
Abstract: A client device sends a connection request to a virtual system in a Kubernetes cluster. The connection request identifies the client device and the application to which the request pertains. Based on a tenant associated with the client device, the virtual system connects the client device to an instance of the application. The instance of the application has access to data for the tenant but not for other tenants. Another client device of the tenant sends another connection request to the virtual system for a connection to another application. Because the tenant is the same, the instance of the other application may access the same data as the instance of the first application. In this way, applications for a single tenant may share data while maintaining the security of the data from other tenants.

  • Patent number: 11201784
Abstract: An artificial intelligence-based networking method for fog radio access networks, which includes: a central computing logic module receives reported data which includes measurement report data from user terminals, wireless transmission data from base stations, and operation and maintenance data from a radio access network. Based on these reported data and proper machine learning algorithms, the central computing logic module configures an operating mode of a radio access network that matches user behavior, service attributes, and radio access network performance indicators. According to the operating mode, an edge computing logic module determines whether to optimize a current configuration of an edge communication entity and allocation of radio resources, computing resources, and caching resources. With proper machine learning algorithms, the proposed networking method meets various service requirements.

  • Patent number: 11201866
Abstract: A native application on a client computing device enables secure user authentication via an identity provider (IdP) for accessing services of a web service provider. The native application forwards a redirect request generated by a main gateway of the service provider and including an IdP uniform resource locator (URL) to a system browser of the client computing device. The redirect request directs the system browser to a broker gateway of the service provider that registers an authentication response handler and redirects the system browser to the IdP URL to enable a user of the native client computing device to authenticate. After the broker gateway receives an IdP authentication response from the IdP following authentication by the user, the broker gateway provides the IdP authentication response to the native application for providing back to the main gateway. The main gateway finally processes the authentication response to complete the authentication request.

  • Patent number: 11196821
Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and communications devices. In some implementations, a first device instructs a second device to stop sending data of an application to the first device, receives from the second device first indication information indicating a sequence number of data that is of the application and that has been received by the second device from the first device, and sends to the second device second indication information indicating a sequence number of data that is of the application and that has been received by the first device from the second device. After a connection between the terminal device and a second server is established, the first and second indication information are used to transmit the data of the application through the connection.
