  • Patent number: 11388085
Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for path selection proportional to a penalty delay in processing packets. A server-side intermediary may identify a delay penalty for processing packets of a server destined for a client. The server-side intermediary may be in communication via links of different latencies with a client-side intermediary. The server-side intermediary may select a second link with a latency that deviates from the lowest latency of a first link by the delay penalty. The server-side intermediary may transmit, to the client-side intermediary, duplicates of the packets via the selected second link with information indicating to hold the duplicates at the client-side intermediary. The server-side intermediary may receive an indication to drop or send the duplicates to the client. The server-side intermediary may transmit the indication to the client-side intermediary to drop or send the duplicates according to the indication.

  • Patent number: 11374867
Abstract: Techniques for avoiding packet collision in wireless communications networks include initializing a first data indicating a plurality of fixed delay values in a range from a minimum delay to a maximum delay and indicating a corresponding plurality of adjustable weights. A first applied delay for a first packet is determined based on the first data. The first packet if transmitted at a time based on the first applied delay. Based on whether transmission of the first packet was successful the first data is adjusted by reducing a first weight of the plurality of adjustable weights for a corresponding first fixed delay value greater than the first applied delay, or by increasing a second weight of the plurality of adjustable weights for a corresponding second fixed delay value smaller than the first applied delay, or both.

  • Patent number: 11310149
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to enable packets of network traffic to be routed to a network appliance. Bidirectional flows of network traffic can be routed to the same network appliance based on flow information of the corresponding packets. A network device may intercept the packet corresponding to a first flow and route the packet to a specific network appliance based on the first flow information. The network device may generate a direction agnostic tuple value based on data groups of the first flow information. The network device may propagate the direction agnostic tuple value across availability zones to a second network device in a different availability zone to store the direction agnostic tuple value for use for subsequent packets. • Patent number: 11304138
Abstract: A wireless communication device (UE) may receive control indicator information (CII) indicating whether one or more candidate physical control channels (PCCs) are available to the UE for decoding. The UE may perform respective blind decoding if the CII indicates that the one or more candidate PCCs are available, to decode a respective PCC intended for the UE. The UE may receive the CII in the same slot in which PCCs are transmitted, or it may receive the CII in another slot, which may be a narrowband slot. The UE may receive the PCCs in the same slot in which corresponding physical data channels (PDCs) are transmitted, or it may receive the PCCs in another slot, e.g. a slot immediately preceding the slot in which the corresponding PDCs are transmitted. By eliminating unnecessary blind decoding and receiving the CII over narrowband, power consumption of the UE may be greatly reduced.
