The rotating wheel unit has two U-shaped bail-supporting portions, each of which is formed with two parallel inner surfaces that define a socket therebetween and that are parallel to the rotating axis. The bail arm unit includes two support members, each of which has a base portion and a connecting head portion, and a bail arm member for interconnecting the connecting head portions. The base portions of the support members are disposed respectively and pivotally within the sockets in the rotating wheel unit. Each of the base portions has two opposite side surfaces that are parallel to and that abut respectively against the inner surfaces of the corresponding bail-supporting portion.

A winding former having locks for a conductive wire at positions corresponding to vertices of the rectangular single coil is rotated by 180 degrees about an X-axis, by 180 degrees about a Y-axis, alternately by first and second rotating mechanisms. Thereby, a single conductive wire fed out in the direction of a Z-axis from a conductive wire feeding out machine is wound while locked to the locks of the winding former in succession.

    Abstract: A fishing reel rotor includes an annular bearing seat secured to a mounting member and disposed around a driving rod. An outer brake ring is disposed fixedly within the bearing seat, and is disposed around a roller-positioning member, which is sleeved rotatably on an inner brake tube that is in turn sleeved non-rotatably on the driving rod. A plurality of rollers are retained on the roller-positioning member between the outer brake ring and the brake tube. A driving ring is disposed rotatably around the driving rod, is connected non-rotatably to the roller-positioning member, and is rotatable between a first position, where the driving rod is permitted to rotate in two directions, and a second position, where the driving rod is permitted to rotate in a single direction. A tension spring is disposed between the driving ring and the bearing seat so as to bias the driving ring to the second position.

The groove defines a helical ridge in parallel relationship to the groove, wherein the markings are provided along the ridge, and wherein the sensor is secured to the housing in confronting relationship to the ridge.

    Abstract: A method of winding the yarn traveling at a work station of a spinning bobbin winding machine or of a bobbin winding machine from a yarn source onto a take-up bobbin (4). After each yarn interruption, the yarn end is unwound from the take-up bobbin (4), a yarn joinder reconnects the yarn source and the take-up bobbin (4) and the winding process is then continued if a tolerable yarn joining location is present. Upon the occurrence of each yarn interruption, the amount of yarn wound since the last yarn joinder is determined. If such amount of yarn is determined to be less than a predetermined amount of yarn, a sufficient amount of yarn is unwound and separated from the take-up bobbin (4) to include the last-occurring yarn joining location in the separated yarn section. This results in an optical improvement in the quality of the finished textile product.

    Abstract: A tool for applying a force to a chain. The tool comprises a lever and an attachment member pivotally connected to the lever with two opposed arms pivotally mounted to the lever on opposite sides of the attachment member. Each arm has an end adapted to releasably engage and hold the chain. There is a linkage between the arms to guide movement of the arms upon reciprocal pivotal movement of the lever with respect to the attachment member. The arms are operable in a cycle in which one of the arms is maintained stationary to engage and hold the chain while the other arm is released from the chain and moved parallel to the chain past the stationary arm to engage and hold a new location on the chain whereupon each arm assumes the role of the other arm to repeat the cycle. The tool provides a simple and reliable manually operated device for applying a force to a chain. Mounting a weight to the attachment member allows the tool to be used to lift the weight along a suspended chain.
