    Abstract: The collapsible trolley having one or two flat boards for displaying things, a plurality of casters and a side frame which consists of four frame sections: two non-collapsible sections and two collapsible sections located at the opposite ends of the trolley. The four frame sections are pivotally connected with a plurality of rods so as to allow two collapsible frame sections to be folded inward. The flat boards which fit properly to the interior of the side frame, help keep the trolley sturdy when the side frame is fully extended for use. When the trolley is not in use, the flat boards are lifted from their normal positions and allowed to stand against the non-collapsible frame sections while the two collapsible frame sections are pushed inward.

    Abstract: A sliding apparatus includes one or more stiffening plates mounted to the top surface of the sliding apparatus. The plates serve to stiffen localized areas on the snowboard in order to change the flexion and torsion characteristics of the snowboard in that localized area. The location of the stiffening plates can be adjusted to accommodate a wide range of riding stances and orientations. The stiffening plates can be utilized on a symmetrical sliding apparatus to provide asymmetrical flexion and torsion characteristics in order to accommodate the asymmetrical stance of the rider. The stiffening plates can also be adjusted to enable a ski or snowboard to perform well in both soft snow conditions and hard packed snow conditions. The stiffening plates can be positioned within a recessed channel in the top surface of the sliding apparatus in order to prevent snow from being forced under the stiffening plates during use.

    Abstract: A system for mounting climbing fabric to a ski is described. A climbing fabric tensioner is attached to the front end of the climbing fabric by a tensioning cord. The climbing fabric tensioner is retained by a bracket attached to a top surface of a toe of the ski. A heel lock is attached to a rear end of the climbing fabric. The heel lock engages a boss in a top surface of the heel of the ski to lock the rear end of the climbing fabric to the ski. At least one Z-shaped bracket is attached to the underside of the climbing fabric between the heel lock and the climbing fabric tensioner. The Z-shaped brackets have upturned and inturned ends which engage opposite sides of the ski when the climbing fabric is mounted on the ski, to prevent the climbing fabric from sliding laterally from under the ski.

Each push bar has one end secured to the belt and their other end secured to opposite ends of the baby stroller handle so that, while jogging, the user propels the baby stroller through the belt and push bars. The baby stroller is steered by the user exerting a greater force on one push bar than the other.

    Abstract: A dolly system for use in moving large, loaded, display cases and similar structures that includes several dollies and apparatus for lifting the cases onto the dollies. Each dolly includes a housing having typically four casters on one side with walls around each caster and spaced tapered walls along a surface for supporting a downwardly extending rail along the underside of the case. A surface for engaging and supporting a kick plate is included, with a ridge for retaining the kick plate in position. An extendable bar is positioned through holes in the rails so that the case may be lifted with a fork lift and the dollies placed in position. The dollies may also be fastened to a large sheet of plywood or to a wood gondola for supporting other types of cases. With this system, during store renovation fully loaded display cases may be moved as needed and can be used by customers while mounted on the casters.

    Abstract: A release binding (20) is shown for releasably attaching a ski boot to a telemark or cross-country ski (22). A load spool (50) having a circumferential groove (56) is attached perpendicular to the bottom of a standard toe plate (24) used to secure the toe of the boot. A release plate (40) having a planar load spring (44) inside is attached to the ski. The load spring has two sides (62, 64) attached together at both ends forming an elongated aperture. To assemble the boot on the ski, the skier orients the load spool through a hole (48) in the top of the release plate into the elongated aperture of the spring and pushes down. A pilot surface (60) on the load spool pushes the two sides of the spring apart until the groove is reached whereupon the two spring sides snap into the groove retaining the toe plate on the ski.

    Abstract: A method for implementing an intelligent cruise control using standard engine control modes includes determining the distance and closing rate relative to a forward object or vehicle and using this information to implement a distance control mode and a speed control mode. The distance control mode maintains a selectable headway range relative to a forward object or vehicle and may include accelerating the vehicle or decelerating the vehicle by defueling, engaging an engine brake, or downshifting the transmission when engine speed permits. The speed control mode maintains a selectable cruising speed if no target vehicle is detected. This cruising speed set point also functions as an upper limit while in the distance control mode. The system and method effect the intelligent cruise control functions utilizing control logic external to the electronic engine control module utilizing the engine speed control mode or engine speed and torque limiting control mode of SAE J1922 or SAE J1939 standards.

The first and second rollers cooperate to fully support the suitcase when the second rollers are deployed and the suitcase is in a rolling position. A push/pull handle is mounted on the suitcase to enable a user to roll the suitcase across the surface.

The system includes first and second boot mounted bales in the form of rigid loops that extend from each side of the boot soles, and a pair of bindings attached to the snowboard. Each binding has a base including elongated, slotted holes located on the circumference of a circle through which bolts are placed to secure the base to the snowboard with a friction washer therebetween. The elongated holes allow for rotational adjustment of the binding. A hook-shaped structure extends from one side of the base with the hook facing outward. On the opposite side of the base is a camming structure with a downward and outwardly sloping surface ending in a bale-receiving notch.
