Abstract: Disclosed are methods and devices for Chinese language input to a touch screen. A method can include displaying pinyin “initials” on the touch screen and sensing a touch input at a first position of the touch screen. If the touch input is continuously sensed at the first position for a predetermined period of time, the method can include determining a pinyin “initial” and then discontinuing displaying the pinyin “initials” and displaying pinyin “finals” on the touch screen. By sensing a removal of the touch input from the touch screen at a second position, a selected “final” is determined. The method can also include displaying at least one Chinese character on the touch screen based upon the selected “initial” and the selected “final.

Abstract: A computing device may include a presence-sensitive display, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to output, for display at the presence-sensitive display, a graphical keyboard including a plurality of keys and a suggestion region; determine, based on a selection of the suggestion region or one or more keys from the plurality of keys, a search query; retrieve one or more search results determined based on the search query; and output, in place of at least a portion of the graphical keyboard, a visual representation of a particular search result of the one or more search results.

Abstract: While texting, a user is able access, share, and control rich media without leaving the texting application. The rich media are provided directly within the executing texting application. The texting application includes an embedded widget for controlling the rich media. Rich media includes, among other things, video clips, streaming audio, a map application, a movie-time application, a social movie-site application, a dynamically controllable image, or promotional media. Different mobile devices executing the texting applications communicate through a server that allows additional functionality, such as syncing the play of video clips and hosting and pushing the promotional media.

Abstract: A system and method for providing context-based user interface cards is disclosed. According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises determining a user's context and a user's device. A plurality of user interface cards to the user's device is provided based on the user's context. Each of the plurality of user interface cards has a data portion and a form portion, and the data portion and the form portion of each of the plurality of user interface cards are delivered separately to the user's device.

Abstract: The invention relates to MicroBlog field, and provides method, apparatus and terminal for page refreshing. The method includes: outputting a preset animation interface when a page refreshing operation is performed, wherein the preset animation interface comprising a preset logo, moving cursors, and a refresh progress bar, and the moving cursors move to the refresh progress bar starting from the preset logo; calculating and outputting current length of the refresh progress bar when it is detected that the moving cursors arrive at the refresh progress bar; and outputting pulled refresh information when the current length of the refresh progress bar equals to width of the preset animation interface. The invention can enable a user to get better sense of experience when a preset animation interface is output upon page refreshing.

Abstract: Skin diagnostic techniques employed in conjunction with image processing techniques. For example, a user information module captures a user skin image. A graphical user interface enables selection of a skin-related application from a plurality of skin-related applications. A processor determines user skin image data from the user skin image, and identifies one or more sets of skin image data in the skin image database that correspond to the user skin image data based on one or more parameters specified by the skin-related application. The processor applies at least one image processing filter that corresponds to the one or more identified sets of skin image data from the skin image database to the user skin image to generate a simulated user skin image. An output display displays the simulated user skin image.
