Abstract: A tooth shroud for a demolition tool is disclosed wherein forces produced during demolition operations may be dissipated so as to avoid excessive forces at stress points. A tooth block for a demolition tool comprises a first tooth shroud and a second tooth shroud. The first and second tooth shroud each comprising a body having a front wall and an end wall wherein a cavity is enclosed by the front wall and the end wall; an impact member extending longitudinally from the body; and a cut-out disposed on the end wall, wherein the first tooth shroud is connected to the second tooth shroud.
Abstract: The invention relates to a shredding device (1) used for picking apart compressed blocks (2) of loose-fill cellulose thermal insulation material. It comprises a chute (3) with a chute inlet (3a) configured to receive the insulation block (2). Further, it comprises a shredder (4) rotatable around a substantially horizontal axis (A), mounted at an outlet (3b) of the chute (3). The device (1) is characterized in that the rotatable shredder (4) is a cylinder with protruding grating pins (5) arranged on its mantel surface (4?), where the pins (5) have a length shorter than the radius of the cylinder and are adapted to grate, pick apart and fluff the insulation from the compressed block format (2) into a fluff material with an even density. Further, the invention relates to a method for picking apart loose-fill cellulose thermal insulation material compressed into a block (2).
Abstract: A device for the comminution of free-flowing feed material is provided that includes a housing enclosing a comminution chamber which contains a rotor that rotates around an axis, and has comminution tools over its circumference. A feeding device to transport the feed material to the comminution chamber in form of a gas-solid matter mixture, wherein the feeding device features a pneumatic sieve passage which uses the effect of gravity for removal of foreign particles from the feed material. In order to operate both the sieve passage and the device under optimal process parameters, the device features at least one inlet port for the supply of secondary air, wherein the at least one inlet port flows into the gas-solid matter mixture downstream of the sieve passage.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a generally cylindrical bowl support for a cone crusher which includes a plurality of evenly, circumferentially spaced ears around the periphery of the support. The ears are designed to have clamping cylinders mounted thereto to provide protection from tramp iron and the like passing through the cone crusher. A plurality of thickened ribs are defined in the support, at least some of the thickened ribs extending downwardly from the ears to form abutting polygon configurations to spread and absorb forces from a crushing operation. Other ones of the ribs define at least one circumferentially-extending, continuous ring forming portions of the polygons.

The pill crusher can be operated efficiently and easily and can be cleaned easily for reducing cross contaminations.

Abstract: A method for milling flex foil includes providing a web of flex foil including a substrate; a first conductive layer arranged on one surface of the substrate; a second conductive layer arranged on an opposite surface of the substrate; a first insulating layer arranged adjacent to the first conductive layer; and a second insulating layer arranged adjacent to the second conductive layer. The method includes dry milling one side of the web using a first cliché pattern including raised portions and non-raised portions to selectively remove at least one of the first conductive layer and the first insulating layer. The method includes dry milling an opposite side of the web using a second cliché pattern including upper raised portions, lower raised portions and non-raised portions to selectively remove the second insulating layer.

Abstract: A wear-resistant element for partially inserting into a recess in the surface of a wear surface of a comminuting device. The wear-resistant element has a fastening region, which is connectable to the recess in the surface of the wear surface and a wearing region, which protrudes at least partially from the surface of the wear surface. The fastening region includes a material that is less wear-resistant than the material of the wearing region, wherein the wearing region extends beyond the fastening region at the level of the wear-resistant element.

Abstract: A mechanical bin-full device for a paper shredder with a bin, having a curved, perforated T-blade sensor on a cylindrical body partially covered with a metal sheet. The T-blade is pendent into the bin. Metal contacts are placed on the paper shredder near the metal sheet, forming a switch, which is coupled to a motor control circuit for the shredder motor. The T-blade is pushed by paper shreddant and rotates the cylinder body as paper shreddant fills the bin. When the bin becomes full, the T-blade is positioned so that the metal contacts touch the metal sheet, closing the control circuit switch, and causing the motor to cease operating. The control circuit can include a microcontroller coupled to the motor, or a transistor-based driver coupled to a motor relay.

Abstract: Solid waste that includes a mixture of wet organic material and dry organic material can be are separated using mechanical separation to produce a wet organic stream enriched in wet organics and a dry organic stream enriched in dry organics. The separated wet organic stream and dry organic stream are separately converted to renewable or recyclable products using different conversion techniques particularly suited for the separated wet and dry organic streams.
Abstract: A beater wheel for a pulverizer mill is provided. The beater wheel includes a rotatable hub disc having apertures defined therethrough and a ring disc having respective apertures defined therethrough, and a plurality of tubular ribs, disposed therebetween and weldingly coupled thereto at a tubular first end to the hub disc and at a tubular second end to the ring disc to define respective weld joints thereat. Each respective aperture in the hub disc and ring disc are sized and disposed to allow direct access therethrough to at least one respective weld joint at the respective interior surface of the first and second tubular ends for inspection and testing.

Each rotor drum assembly has a plurality of rotor rings each ring having a plurality of angled blades that effectively cooperate with each other to guard each blade and the drum against the wrapping of clogging fibrous strands and other clogging material around the drum. Each chopper rotor drum assembly incorporates a plurality of rotor rings spaced along and encircling and attached to a main drum tube and distributed in a cutting zone along and surrounding the longitudinal rotational axis of the drum tube with each rotor ring having a pair or a plurality of pairs of cutting blades attached to respective alternately angled mounting tabs that alternate to the left and to the right to the general plane of the rotor ring.
Abstract: A system and a process for dry recovery of iron oxide fines from iron hearing compact and semicompact rocks are provided, which system and process utilize primary, secondary and tertiary crushing components for preliminarily reducing the granulometry of ores containing the iron oxide fines in compact and semicompact rocks. Dynamic air classifier components are provided for finely grinding iron oxide minerals reduced through primary, secondary and tertiary crushing, along with static air classification components arranged in series for intermediate granulometric cuts and bag filters for retaining fine fraction. The system and process further comprise magnetic rolls, for magnetic separation, arranged in cascade at a variable leaning angle and formed by at least one of high or low magnetic intensity magnets.
Abstract: The system for separating battery cell cores includes a cell core holder for receiving and holding a battery cell core. A cutter cuts an outer wrapping layer of the battery cell core to form an open loose end. A first roller rotates the battery cell core and a sheet opener engages the open loose end to unroll a laminate, which includes a cathode layer, an anode layer, and a polymer separator layer sandwiched therebetween. A pair of second rollers receive, grip and selectively drive movement of the laminate. A cathode breaker applies breaking force to the cathode layer to produce broken cathode layer pieces, which are then collected. An anode breaker then grasps and vibrates the laminate to produce broken anode layer pieces, which are also collected. Finally, a polymer separator layer cutter selectively cuts the polymer separator layer to produce cut polymer separator layer pieces, which are collected.
