  • Patent number: 11583143
Abstract: A coffee grinder-loser apparatus has a removable grinding chamber that is extractable with a fast release. Grinding adjustment is independent of access to the grinding chamber. An interface flange is interposed between an adjusting ring nut and a fixed chamber of the grinding chamber. The flange makes an indirect coupling of the ring nut and of an extractable group of components to the fixed structure. A locking system includes levers with a cam tooth mounted externally on the interface flange. The cam tooth hooks a head of tie-rod assemblies with an elastic spring so as to place them in traction and joined to the fixed structure of the grinding chamber.

  • Patent number: 11583905
Abstract: A method for treating process material using a plurality of autoclaves, wherein each of the plurality of autoclaves cycles through the following: introducing steam from one or more of the plurality of autoclaves into an interior of a vessel; increasing the temperature within the vessel by adding heat to the interior of the vessel using an indirect heat source; reducing the temperature and pressure within the vessel by flashing a portion of the steam within the interior of the vessel to another one of the plurality autoclaves; increasing the temperature within the vessel by continuing to add heat to the interior of the vessel using the indirect heat source; and reducing a moisture content of the process material in the interior of vessel to a predetermined value by venting a remaining portion of the steam to another one of the plurality of autoclaves.

  • Patent number: 11583144
Abstract: A micro puree machine includes a mixing shaft coupled to a blade and rotatable by means of a gear. A magnet is coupled to the gear and a rotation sensor is mounted on the machine housing. As the mixing shaft descends into the pre-frozen ingredients, the rotation sensor detects a magnetic field of the magnet as the gear rotates and generates a rotation signal in response. A controller receives the rotation signal and determines a rotation count associated with the gear, causing the mixing shaft to ascend back toward the housing once a pre-selected rotation count has been reached. The pre-selected rotation count correlates with the partial processing of the ingredients.

  • Patent number: 11583866
Abstract: Method and apparatus for fracturing particulates during an air mill process. In some embodiments, a disc assembly is rotated within a housing about a central axis. The disc assembly includes a horizontally extending annular ring with opposing innermost and outermost edge surfaces. A retention flange extends adjacent the outermost edge surface of the annular ring. Spaced apart impellers project from an upper surface of the annular ring for movement in a direction of rotation of the annular ring to form an inner zone of lower pressure surrounded by an outer zone of higher pressure. During air mill processing, an inlet stream of particulates is introduced to the inner zone to induce collisions among previously introduced particulates into the inner zone. Reduced-sized fractured particulates are removed from the inner zone using a negative pressure supplied via a vacuum line.

  • Patent number: 11577255
Abstract: Disclosed is a meat grinder. According to the technical solution of this disclosure, food is placed into a processing cavity through a material inlet, and after the food is fallen to a side of a propeller away from a cutter head, the propeller is configure to propel the food to a cutter. The food is pressed against the cutter head and the food on the cutter head is cut by the cutter, and the food in discharge holes is squeeze outed by the propeller. Because the propeller is rotatably connected to the cutter head through the wear part, it may prevent an end of the propeller facing the cutter head from rubbing directly against the cutter head and causing black powder, so as to avoid the risk of contamination of the meat and affect the user's experience.

  • Patent number: 11516970
Abstract: A shredding rotor rotatably coupled to a support frame is configured to remove plant leaves from plant stems fed into an aperture in the support frame. The shredding rotor includes many flexible shredding strands attached to a rotor axle. The shredding strands are sufficiently flexible to strip leaves from all sides of the stems without breaking the stems into pieces. Shredding strands are spaced far enough apart from one another to prevent plant material from becoming lodged between the strands. A destemming and shredding apparatus including two shredding rotors separates an incoming stream of plant materials into an output stream of shredded leaves and another output stream of essentially intact stems. A shredding apparatus having no more than one shredding rotor receives destemmed leaves at an inlet aperture and outputs shredded leaf fragments.

  • Patent number: 11519830
Abstract: An active/resilient grinding media inside a tube containing a sample is oscillated rapidly by a homogenizer so that the active media is driven in a first direction until it impacts a first end of the tube, which causes it to deform and store an energy charge as it decelerates and stops, and it then accelerates rapidly in the second opposite direction under the discharging force of the stored energy toward the opposite second end of the tube. This cycle of the active media decelerating/charging and then discharging/accelerating is repeated throughout the entire oscillatory processing of the sample. The result is much higher velocities of the active media and therefore much greater impact forces when the sample and active media collide, producing increased efficiency in disruption and size-reduction of the sample particles.
