  • Patent number: 11457133
Abstract: The following describes the apparatus and associated algorithms related to a new type of imaging system that has several benefits over conventional camera architectures in terms of size, volume, shape, performance, and imaging capabilities. The imaging system includes an image sensor, a reflector, and a controller. The controller rotates the reflector relative to the image sensor to direct light from portions of a view of an external environment towards the image sensor. The controller synchronizes the image sensor with the reflector to capture images of the different portions of the view of the external environment. The controller then combines the images from the image sensor to form an image that includes the view of the external environment.

  • Patent number: 11405555
Abstract: There is provided an information processing apparatus. A detecting unit detects a first motion amount of an object from an image obtained through first shooting carried out repeatedly at predetermined intervals of time. A converting unit converts the first motion amount into a first motion blur amount that will arise in second shooting, on the basis of the predetermined intervals of time and a shutter speed used in the second shooting. A determining unit determines a first shutter speed adjustment step size on the basis of a difference between the first motion blur amount and a first target motion blur amount that is lower than the first motion blur amount. A changing unit changes the shutter speed of the second shooting at the first shutter speed adjustment step size in response to a first shutter speed changing unit being operated.

  • Patent number: 11356603
Abstract: An image capturing apparatus comprising an image sensor and a control circuit is disclosed. The control circuit changes, if a second drive period that is a drive period of the image sensor for still image shooting overlaps with a first drive period that is a drive period of the image sensor for moving image shooting, a start timing of the second drive period. When performing still image shooting while performing moving image shooting and moving image display: if the still image shooting is single image shooting or a first shot of continuous shooting, the control circuit does not change the start timing of the second drive period. If the still image shooting is a second shot onward of continuous shooting, the control circuit changes the start timing of the second drive period with giving priority to the moving image display.
