Abstract: A vehicle lighting source adapter includes a holder, terminals, and cables connected to the terminals. The holder has a pair of insertion blocks at both sides and an insertion plate at a front end. The insertion plate includes an upper surface and a lower surface. Each of the upper and lower surfaces is disposed with a pair of connection channels. Each connection channel includes a first and a second fillisters. A retainer is disposed to each of the first and second fillisters. Each terminal is inserted into and partially exposed from the first fillister and has its snap portion restricted by the retainer.
Abstract: An electric contact of a plug connector is formed by folding a blank, and is inserted into a receiving cell of a housing and fitted to the housing. The electric contact includes a tab formed of a base plate and a contact plate folded so as to overlap one another in the thickness direction. The rear end of the base plate includes a protruding part that protrudes beyond the rear end of the contact plate in the depth direction. When the contact body is set in the receiving cell of the housing, the base plate of the tab protruding out of the receiving cell is supported by the housing, and the protruding part of the base plate is fitted in and held by the housing to prevent the tab from lifting from the housing in the thickness direction.
Abstract: An apparatus for connecting two pairs of conductors and one pair of ground wires and for allowing separation of the same upon the application of a tensional force upon at least one of the conductors or ground wires. The apparatus includes two plates that each defines three holes configured to receive two conductors and a ground wire, wherein the plates are positioned adjacent to each other such that the respective holes in each plate are aligned such that the conductors and ground wires coming from each plate would be in physical contact. Three connectors hold the plates together. The first two connectors are configured to release the plates upon the application of a tensional force on the conductors or ground wires before the third connector releases the plates, thereby separating the conductors before separating the ground wires.
Abstract: A unit for quick connection of conductors to terminals has a body, at least two mechanical devices each formed and operative for a quick connection conductors to terminals, a body, at least two mechanical devices each formed and operative for a quick connection of one conductor to each terminal and for disconnection of the one conductor from each terminal, the mechanical devices being formed so that each of the mechanical devices provides a quick connection of one of the conductors to each of the terminal, and a disconnection of the one conductor from each terminal without impairing the other of the mechanical devices and thereby the other conductor.
Abstract: A connector for module that connects a module to a printed circuit board in a position wherein the board plane of the module is approximately parallel to the printed circuit board.
Abstract: A manually actuated ejector for electrical connectors for providing an initial disconnection movement between connector components includes a pivotal lever attached to one connector component having an actuator link connected thereto, the link terminating in a connection to a rotatable cam carried by the one connector part with a cam face in juxtaposition to an opposed surface of a second connector part whereby movement of the lever rotates the cam in opposition to the second connector part causing relative disconnection movement between the two connector parts.
Abstract: A clamp-jaw contact assembly includes a stationary contact adapted to engage a meter socket cavity. A moveable contact is adapted to engage a meter bayonet. A unitary spring/pivot wire-formed U-shaped member pivotally mounts the moveable contact to the stationary contact and is adapted to bias the moveable contact toward the stationary contact upon insertion of the meter bayonet therebetween.
Abstract: A connector device includes a housing mounted on a mother board and having a slot for receiving a daughter board. A retainer is used for securing the daughter board to the housing, and includes a base having a channel for receiving the daughter board, and a seat having a bore for slidably receiving a latch. A spring may bias the latch to engage with the daughter board and to lock the daughter board to the base and the seat of the retainer. The latch includes an end portion having an angled surface for allowing the daughter board to move the latch against the spring.
