    Abstract: A heat-shrinkable polymeric cover provides a safe, low cost way to cover a food service pan during food preparation, storage, cooking, transport and reheating. The food pan cover can have a closed top end having a first top edge and a second top edge and an open bottom end having a first bottom edge and a second bottom edge. A first side seal extends from the top end to the bottom end, and a second side seal extends from the top end to the bottom end. A gusset can be formed between the first top edge and the second top edge. The food pan cover can be formed from a single layer of heat-shrinkable polymeric material capable of withstanding a temperature of at least about 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Abstract: A child-resistant flip-top closure including a base for engaging a container and a lid is hingedly attached to the base. A child-resistant locking mechanism inhibits opening of the flip-top closure. The mechanism includes at least one locking tab extending vertically upward from a portion of the lid and terminating in a locking lip. An actuation button is attached to the tab though a connecting rib so that the button is positioned laterally to the side of the tab. At least one barrier wall located adjacent to the actuation button, the barrier wall formed integral with the base and extending upward. The barrier wall includes a locking ledge formed on a rear side of the wall. The locking ledge is configured to engage the locking lip of the tab so as to provide an interlock between the lid and the base.

When in use the stem portion is used to seal a bottle mouth. When the bottle cap is not in use the bottle cap cover encloses and houses the stem portion to protect it from debris. The flanged portion includes a complementary mating structure. The bottle cap cover includes a mating structure that engages the complementary mating structure to secure the bottle cap cover to the flanged portion. When the bottle cap cover is secured to the flanged portion the stem portion extends substantially to a closed bottom end of an inside surface of the bottle cap cover.
