Abstract: A device including a circuit for energizing a latching solenoid from an AC power source which separates the latching solenoid from the AC power circuit. The device provides for reliable operation of the latching solenoid, and may be separated from the AC power source by several thousand feet of high gauge (lower cost) wire. The device operates on low AC voltage and current making it highly energy efficient.
