Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for receiving, from a client device, a first input that provides a current address associated with a user; receiving, from the client device, a second user input that identifies a target location; and searching a real-estate database to identify a real-estate property associated with the current address. The systems and methods further provide for estimating equity associated with the real-estate property, updating parameters of a loan model based on the target location and the estimated equity, and providing an output of the model for presentation to the user based on the updated parameters.

Abstract: Methods, system, and computer program products for associating off-line transactions involving a product with visitors to a web-site. Data relating to an off-line transaction and data relating to visitors to a web-site is received in a computer. The computer determines a score for each visitor based on a number of page views relating to a product in the transaction. A subset of visitors may be determined based on the scores. A likely candidate may then be selected from the subset of visitors using matching methods that compare e-mail addresses, IP addresses, geographic proximities, and times of event occurrences of the transaction to those of the visitor web sessions. The visitor having the strongest match may be identified as a likely candidate, and a web session generated by the likely candidate associated with the off-line transaction for analytics analysis of web marketing and web-site design effectiveness.

Abstract: A device may receive data that includes invoice data related to historical invoices from an organization, contact data related to historical contacts between the organization and various entities, and dispute data related to historical disputes between the organization and the various entities. The device may determine a profile for the data. The device may determine a set of supervised learning models for the historical invoices based on one or more of the historical contacts, the historical disputes, the historical invoices, or historical patterns related to the historical invoices. The device may determine, using the profile, a set of unsupervised learning models for the historical invoices independent of the one or more of the historical contacts, the historical disputes, or the historical patterns. The device may determine, utilizing a super model, a prediction for the invoice after the super model is trained. The device may perform one or more actions.

Abstract: A user interacts with an inventory location, such as a lane on a shelf, picking items or placing items to that inventory location. A neural network (NN) is trained using a subset of reference images to determine parameters, such as node weights. An image of the user interaction is acquired and processed by the NN to determine if an item in a test image matches an item in a candidate set of items. During use, the parameters are used to dynamically instantiate an ad hoc neural network having a graph that is based on a number of items in a candidate set. The candidate set of items may comprise items within reach of a user at the time the test image was acquired, such as on a nearby shelf or tote. The NN output indicates if the test image is deemed to match one of the candidate set of items.

Abstract: A system and method may present, by a first application being executed by an electronic device, a first user interface that enables a user to select a food item and/or non-food item for purchase at a retail establishment. In response to receiving, by the first application, a request from the user using the first user interface to purchase a beverage at the retail establishment, a second application may be linked with the first application. A data repository inclusive of selectable beverage options available for dispensing by a beverage dispenser at the retail establishment may be accessed. The second application may present a second user interface for selection of a selectable beverage option. A selected beverage instruction code representative of a selected beverage may be generated and communicated to the beverage dispenser at the retail establishment to cause the beverage dispenser to be configured for dispensing the selected beverage.

Abstract: A system for building a product library without requiring a planogram includes an image capture unit operated to provide images of items. Taking data from a shelf label detector and depth map creation unit, a processing module can be used to compare detected shelf labels to a depth map, define a product bounding box, and associate the bounding box with an image provided by the image capture unit to build image descriptors. The system can include one or more autonomous robots for supporting and moving the image capture unit and other components.

Abstract: A method for reading information stored in an electronic tag includes (a) initiating a tag reading process during which information stored in an electronic tag is read by an electronic reading device, (b) emitting radio signals from an antenna of the electronic tag reading device toward a predetermined area while moving the antenna, and (c) after step (b), stopping the emitting of the radio signals and the moving of the antenna. Steps (b) and (c) are repeated one or more times during the tag reading process.

Abstract: A service provider may receive job requisition compensation information and/or point of sale (POS) transaction information from a plurality of merchant devices associated with a plurality of merchants. The service provider may categorize the plurality of merchants according to the types of employees employed by the respective merchants, and may further categorize the merchants according to the locations at which they conduct business. The service provider may subsequently determine a compensation recommendation or other compensation information for a particular job requisition offered by a particular merchant. The service provider may further provide instructions to cause a merchant device of the particular merchant to present compensation information within a user interface so as to enable the merchant to view and intelligently adjust compensation for a particular employee.

Abstract: An unattended, automated checkout, computer-controlled automated store outlet and system is disclosed. A customer's identification and payment information are inputted and verified and the customer qualified to remove items from the automated store outlet. Each bay of the automated store outlet is normally locked, and after the customer accesses the bay can remove one or more items from the bay, which are automatically detected and identified and charged to the customer as part of the purchase transaction. These events occur at the location of each automated store outlet. Each automated store outlet communicates with a central control center, which can be used for live customer service and real time surveillance.

Abstract: A terminal includes an item scanner. The item scanner determines whether an item that passes within a field of view of the scanner during a transaction has a properly noted barcode recorded for the transaction. When the item fails to have a properly noted barcode an alert is raised in real time for assistance and/or investigation of the transaction.

Abstract: According to one implementation, an interactive retail venue includes a computing platform interactively linked to a display screen, a lighting system, an audio system, a dynamic product display unit, and multiple product sensors. The computing platform includes a hardware processor and a memory storing a venue orchestration software code. The hardware processor executes the venue orchestration software code to receive sensor data from the product sensors, determine respective locations of retail products within the interactive retail venue based on the sensor data, and present a multi-media entertainment featuring the retail products using the display screen, the lighting system, and the audio system. The hardware processor further executes the venue orchestration software code to concurrently activate the dynamic product display unit if at least one of the retail products is situated within a predetermined distance of the dynamic product display unit.

It is identified that a listing of an item is exposed to a plurality of users of a first subsystem via a set of categories of a first front-end taxonomy. The listing of the item is mapped to a set of categories of a global back-end taxonomy, the global back-end taxonomy being maintained independently of the first front-end taxonomy and a second front-end taxonomy, the second front-end taxonomy being associated with a second subsystem. A category of the set of categories of the global back-end taxonomy is mapped to a category of a set of categories of the second front-end taxonomy associated with the second subsystem. The listing of the item is exposed to a plurality of users of the second subsystem via the set of categories of the second front-end taxonomy.

Abstract: Embodiments presented herein describe a location aware, RFID-enabled pallet mover for tracking inventory moving in a warehouse. The pallet mover includes a RFID system for detecting a pallet currently loaded on the pallet mover and a real-time location system (RTLS) tag for identifying a location of the pallet mover in the warehouse. In one embodiment, the RFID system includes an antenna and an RFID reader for detecting RFID tags in order to track inventory such as a pallet or packages. The RFID reader can communicate with the RFID tags in the environment to identify which pallet is currently loaded on the mover. In one embodiment, the RFID system waits until the pallet mover is moving before activating the RFID reader and monitoring a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of an RFID tag to determine whether the corresponding pallet is currently loaded onto the pallet mover.

Abstract: Examples for enabling off-network transactions to be performed and securely managed are provided. An example system may include a data network, a digital ledger server, a blockchain platform, smart payment devices, and point of sale devices. Each respective point of sale device and each respective smart device may be operable to perform an off-network transaction, and store information related to the transaction in a digital ledger coupled to each respective device. When a transaction is executed between a POS device and a smart payment device, the POS device and smart payment device exchange a record of all off-network transactions that each respective device has executed since the last time a connection was made to the data network. When a network connection is established for each device, the respective information stored in the digital ledger is uploaded to the blockchain platform for storage and the digital ledger server for transaction resolution.

Abstract: Embodiments describe an approach for authorizing and documenting eye contact-based computing events using smart contracts. Embodiments comprise receiving smart contract rules from a user associated with performing the eye contact-based computing events using a smart lens, monitoring eye movement for a triggering event, determining an eye contact-based computing request is occurring based on an occurrence of a triggering event, and authenticating a user through biometric security measures on the smart lens. Furthermore, embodiments comprise identifying a focus angle based on measurements by the smart lens, determining that the smart contract rules are satisfied by the focus angle and the authenticating the user, executing the eye contact-based computing event; and logging the eye contact-based computing event on a ledger system.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for identifying points of interest and specific locations located in the vicinity of an expected future location of a user. When a user provides a search request for a point of interest that will be of interest only at a future time, the electronic device can automatically predict an expected future location of the user, and provide points of interest near the expected future location.

Abstract: A kit for connecting to, and monitoring fill levels of a fluid storage tank includes a control module and primary and secondary sensor units. The control module is electronically connected to the primary sensor unit. The control module includes a circuit board with a microprocessor, memory unit, and transmitter. Each sensor unit includes a housing a seal attached to the housing around an opening thereof, attachment structure for attaching the housing to a wall of the tank, and an infrared sensor disposed in the housing proximate the opening. The primary sensor unit also includes a circuit board disposed within the housing, an ambient temperature sensor disposed in the housing, and a communications link for communicating with the control module. A method of monitoring a fluid level in a storage tank, and a system for monitoring and reporting fluid levels in a plurality of storage tanks, are also described.
