  • Patent number: 11658933
Abstract: Techniques are described for learning an unknown virtual network information, such as an virtual Internet Protocol (IP) address, of a pod in a virtual network. In some examples, a virtual router executing at a computing device may receive an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) packet from a virtual execution element in the virtual network, the virtual execution element executing at the computing device. The virtual router may determine, based at least in part on the ARP packet, whether virtual network information for the virtual execution element in a virtual network is known to the virtual router. The virtual router may, in response to determining that the virtual network information of the virtual execution element in the virtual network is not known to the virtual router, perform learning of the virtual network information for the virtual execution element.

  • Patent number: 11632330
Abstract: A method may include determining whether the topology of a network includes a direct path between a first endpoint and a second endpoint in the network. A direct path may be used to send a first type of traffic from the first endpoint to the second endpoint whereas any currently available path may be used to send a second type of traffic from the first endpoint to the second endpoint. If the topology of the network does not include a direct path, the first type of traffic may be buffered at the first endpoint until the topology of the network is reconfigured to include the direct path. The topology of the network may be reconfigured when at least one switch in the network reconfigures, for example, by switching from one interconnection to another interconnection pattern. Related systems and articles of manufacture are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11626904
Abstract: A method and a device for multi-antenna transmission in a user equipment and a base station are disclosed in the present disclosure. The user equipment first receives a first signaling, receives a first wireless signal, and transmits first information. K antenna port groups are used to transmit the first wireless signal. The first signaling is used to determine the K antenna port groups. The K antenna port groups respectively correspond to K channel quality values. K1 antenna port groups of the K antenna port groups correspond to K1 channel quality values of the K channel quality values. The K1 is a positive integer less than or equal to the K. A first proportional sequence corresponds to a ratio(ratios) among the K1 channel quality values. The first information is used to determine the K1 antenna port groups and the first proportional sequence.

  • Patent number: 11575456
Abstract: A multi-node, quantum communication network for providing quantum-secure time transfer with Damon attack detection is described. The network includes three or more nodes connected via authenticated communication channels forming a closed loop. By determining differences between the local times at as well as the time durations required for photons to travel between the three or more nodes, the network detects a Damon attack, if present. For example, the network imposes a closed loop condition to detect the Damon attack. The network can also use the local time differences and time durations for photon travel between nodes to synchronize the local clocks at the three or more nodes of the network.
