  • Patent number: 11192407
Abstract: A regulator for establishing outlet fluid pressure. The regulator includes a valve body having a fluid pressure inlet in selective fluid communication with a fluid pressure outlet. A pilot pressure inlet is formed in the valve body and in fluid communication with a source of pilot pressure. Valving structure in the valve body establishes outlet fluid pressure as a function of pilot pressure. First adjustable structure within the valve body may establish a minimum outlet fluid pressure threshold without regard to pilot pressure. Second adjustable structure within the valve body may establish outlet fluid pressure offset relative to pilot pressure.

  • Patent number: 11130579
Abstract: A device that equalizes an aircraft pressure difference has a separating wall, fixable to the aircraft, and a decompression valve. The wall is for fluidically separating first and second spaces, and has a flow opening that fluidically connects the spaces. The valve closes the flow opening. A securing element on the valve or wall enables a release of the valve when a pressure gradient between the spaces is exceeded, such that there is a fluidic connection between the spaces. The receiving element on the wall or valve is connected to the receiving element. The securing element has a rotary element and fixing elements. The rotary element is rotatably mounted about a rotational shaft. The rotary element is receivable in the receiving element. The fixing elements non-rotatably fix the rotary element beneath the predetermined pressure gradient. At least one of the fixing elements is a spring.

  • Patent number: 11105189
Abstract: A bypass plunger combines a unitary or one-piece hollow body-and-valve cage, retains a dart valve within the valve cage portion of the hollow body using a threaded retaining nut secured by crimple detents. A series of helical grooves surround the central portion of the outer surface of the hollow body of the plunger to control spin during descent. A canted-coil-spring disposed within the retaining nut functions as a clutch. The valve cage includes ports that may be configured to control flow through the plunger during ascent. Other embodiments include clutch assemblies using canted-coil springs with split bobbins, and valve stems surfaced to achieve specific functions. Combinations of these features provide enhanced performance, durability and reliability at reduced manufacturing cost, due primarily to the simplicity of its design.

  • Patent number: 11098821
Abstract: Flapper valves may be provided with flapper assemblies. The flapper assemblies comprise a bracket, a flapper, a bearing, and a pin. The bracket has a pair of knuckles with a bore extending through the knuckles. The flapper has a knuckle with a bore. The bearing is mounted in the flapper knuckle bore and has a bore extending through it. The pin extends through the bores in the bracket knuckles and the bearing bore. The pin and the bracket are locked to each other. Clearance between the pin and the bearing bore allows relative rotation between the flapper and the pin. The flapper thus is mounted to the bracket for pivoting movement between a closed position, in which the flapper is adapted to bear on a seat in the flapper valve, and an open position, in which the flapper is adapted to pivot away from the seat.

  • Patent number: 11067186
Abstract: A pressure reducing valve includes a piston disposed in a cylinder chamber; a valve element that is coupled to the piston and opens and closes a valve seat; a valve spring that biases the valve element in a direction in which the valve element is moved away from the valve seat; and a biasing member that biases the valve seat toward a side opposite to the piston. The pressure reducing valve is configured to reduce a primary pressure of a fluid to a secondary pressure. The valve seat is disposed such that the valve seat reciprocates in the same direction as a direction in which the valve element reciprocates in the primary pressure chamber. As a difference between the primary pressure and the secondary pressure increases, the valve seat moves toward the secondary pressure chamber.
