Abstract: An expendable pallet skid device formed from a metal strip having vertical legs extending from opposite ends of the strip and slotted to enable straps to secure two or more pallet skids to the bottom of a container or other articles, such as stacks of corrugated sheets, boxes, laminar metal sheets, plywood, or other items, to enable the load to be lifted and transported by the forks of a fork lift or pallet truck.
