Abstract: A firearm, in particular handgun, has a barrel mechanism with a barrel and a chamber, a closing mechanism with a slide and also a cylinder-piston mechanism for gas pressure-operated closure delay. The cylinder-piston mechanism has a hollow cylinder with a hollow cylinder wall. A channel is formed between the barrel mechanism and the cylinder-piston mechanism. The hollow cylinder wall is fitted with at least one reinforcing element. The firearm may be produced by the following process steps: introduction of a first portion of the bore into the basic body up to the recess; introduction of a second portion of the bore up to the hollow cylinder; drilling of the channel, wherein the drill is conducted through the bore; and introduction of the reinforcing element into the recess, wherein the bore is closed in a gas-tight manner.

Abstract: A rupturable bag assembly including a balloon, an outer wall, an inlet port, and a heat resistant shield. The balloon is fabricated from an elastic material. The outer wall is disposed around the balloon, the outer wall having a perimeter seam which parts abruptly at a predetermined tension. The inlet port passes through the outer wall into the balloon for inflating the balloon to produce the predetermined tension. The heat resistant shield is disposed within the balloon opposite the inlet port. The outer wall is constructed of a relatively inelastic material in comparison to the material used to construct the balloon. There is a dispersible medium disposed within the outer wall and/or the balloon.
Abstract: A firework launching stand includes a hub, a plurality of inlets about the periphery of the hub, each inlet having an open mouth at the periphery and tapering inwardly in width, and at least one securing member for temporarily securing to the hub a firework received within a respective inlet. The firework launching stand lends stability during the activation of fireworks such as consumer-grade fireworks for home and recreational use.
Abstract: Provided is an RPG disruption system (RDS) for protecting an enclosure against RPG's, the system including a casing fixed in close proximity to a wall of the enclosure facing an anticipated RPG threat. The casing includes an anvil accommodating a propelling mechanism for propelling the disrupting element, and an activating system for activating the propelling mechanism so as to propel the disrupting element towards an approaching RPG, to thereby neutralize it.
Abstract: The present invention provides a sporterized firearms stock ensemble configured to be coupled to a long firearm having a pistol grip interface. The firearm stock ensemble includes a cheek-rest and a gunstock assembly. The cheek-rest is configured to be coupled to a recoil buffer tube of the long firearm. The gunstock assembly includes an inline grip portion, a butt-plate and an elongated support section configured to couple the grip portion to the butt-plate.
Abstract: A firing mechanism for a firearm is provided for reducing maximum trigger pull weight attributable to a sear and for reducing trigger pre-travel and over-travel distances. By this, the likelihood of sear flutter phenomena is greatly reduced while also decreasing or maintaining maximum trigger pull weight. Also, hand movement during firing is reduced helping to increase accuracy.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for a passive locking device for preventing an ammunition belt from sliding across the top of an internal wall of an ammunition magazine used in conjunction with a belt feed weapon. In one embodiment the passive locking device is movable between a locked position in which a locking end is in close proximity to the top of the internal wall, and an unlocked position in which the locking end is spaced apart from the top of the wall.
Abstract: Disclosed is a reversible safety selector switch for an AR15-type firearm including a control shaft and a control lever. The control shaft is pivotably mountable about an axis in a lower receiver and has a cam portion with first and second cam surfaces and a detent portion having a surface and first and second detent grooves with detent sockets at each end of each groove. The first detent groove extends circumferentially approximately 90 degrees along the surface and the second detent groove extending circumferentially less than 90 degrees along the surface. A control lever is connectable to an end of the control shaft and configured for manipulation outside the receiver by a user to axially rotate the control shaft.
Abstract: Disclosed is a firearm configuration for a handgun. The firearm configuration is designed to reduce the recoil forces encountered by a user upon firing the weapon. Recoil forces are reduced by lowering the firearm's center of mass and by aligning a recoiling mass with the user's arm and trigger finger. Abstract: A muzzleloader firearm is converted into a firearm adapted for firing an arrow. The stock assembly of the muzzleloader firearm is retained while the barrel assembly is completely removed, and replaced by an arrow barrel assembly. The arrow barrel assembly has a stock assembly attachment for releasably engaging the stock assembly of the muzzleloader firearm, and a barrel attachment for engaging an inner barrel tube that holds an arrow shaft with a hollow interior and propels the arrow out of the firearm when a blank cap is activated, and an outer shroud to protect the inner barrel tube and enclose a loaded arrow. The arrow barrel assembly rearward end has formed recesses for receiving the blank cap and aligning the rim of the blank cap with the firing pin of the muzzleloader stock assembly.

The channel and the longitudinal break extend into the first cylindrical body portion from a first end of the first cylindrical body portion, and the longitudinal break at least partially merges with the channel. At the same time, the second cylindrical body portion is attached to a second end of the cylindrical body portion and has a smaller diameter than the first cylindrical body portion. The stick is at least partially inserted into the channel. Lastly, the fiber wad is wrapped around at least a portion of the stick.

Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for reliably limiting the cartridge loading capacity of firearm magazines. In one embodiment, a magazine capacity limiting assembly includes a limiter body and a limiter base. The magazine capacity limiter body reliably operates with a cartridge follower of a firearm magazine. The limiter body is installed substantially within coils of the magazine's spring, thereby limiting the travel of the follower within the magazine body to limit the magazine's cartridge capacity. The limiter base is coupled to both the limiter body and the magazine's floor plate.
