Abstract: A fuel tank and radiator layout structure for a saddle type vehicle that makes the vehicle smaller-sized and compact while securing cooling efficiency of a radiator. A front wall of a fuel tank is inclined forward to obliquely extend downwardly rearward from its upper end. The radiator is disposed on the rear and lower side of the front end of the fuel tank, and the radiator is provided vertically or is inclined forward so as to have its lower end located rearwardly of its upper end in side view. The forward inclination angle of the front wall of the fuel tank relative to the vertical is greater than the forward inclination angle of the radiator relative to the vertical.
Abstract: A motorcycle includes a body frame including right and left main frames and right and left rear arms, a rear suspension disposed on a vehicle center line so that its axis extends substantially in a fore-and-aft direction, and a seat located above the rear suspension. The left main frame includes a left inclined portion extending obliquely rightward and rearward, and a left minimum portion. The right main frame includes a right inclined portion extending obliquely leftward and rearward, and a right minimum portion located rightward of the left minimum portion such that a distance between the right and left main frames in a vehicle width direction is at a minimum rearward of the left inclined portion and the right inclined portion. The rear suspension is at least partially located between the right and left minimum portions in a plan view of the motorcycle.
Abstract: A wheelchair comprising a frame, a seat assembly attached to the frame, two rear wheels attached to the frame, and at least one front wheel assembly attached to the frame. The frame defines a front face and two side faces. The front face is defined by one or more structural elements situated along a front of the frame, while the side faces are defined by two top side members and two corresponding bottom side members. The front face and the two side faces result in three non-orthogonal planes, which contribute to the strength and stiffness of the frame.
Abstract: Assembling workability of driving disks to a vehicle body frame, and setting a spacing dimension of left and right driving disks in an axial direction with high accuracy to stabilize a traveling performance of an inverted pendulum type vehicle. The left and right driving disks are assembled to a hollow shaft member in a positioned state in an axial direction to form a subassembly. The hollow shaft member is fixed to a vehicle body frame by a bolt inserted in a central through-hole of the hollow shaft member.
Abstract: A scooter is configured to rapidly dissipate impact loading permitting jumps and safe landings without damaging the scooter. The scooter includes a frame attached to a fork that is further attached to handle bars and a front wheel such that the handle bars can turn the front wheel allowing the scooter to turn. The frame is attached to a swing arm with a suspension system and a rotation bolt such that the suspension system causes the swing arm to rotate about the rotation bolt to rapidly dissipate impact loading. A rear wheel is mechanically coupled to the swing arm that cushions the jumps permits the safe landings without damaging the scooter.
Abstract: An electric power steering device includes: a worm shaft including a first end portion and a second end portion; a worm wheel; a joint; and an urging member. The first end portion includes: a first tubular portion; a diameter enlargement permission portion to allow enlargement of a diameter of the first tubular portion; and an external teeth portion. The joint includes: a second tubular portion; and an internal teeth portion capable of engaging the external teeth portion. The electric power steering device further includes a diameter enlargement member which is arranged in the first tubular portion and which enlarges a part of the first tubular portion in an axial direction thereof to press the internal teeth portion toward the external teeth portion.
