  • Patent number: 11529494
Abstract: A catheter support comprising a pliant tubular structure of rigidity greater than the penis including a region surrounding the penis shaft, a region surrounding the penis head, and a substantially closed end having an aperture aligned with the penis terminal opening through which the catheter is received. The catheter support limits or eliminates catheter movement substantially radial to the axis of the catheter and thus radially against the inner opening if the penis head, substantially reducing or eliminating abrasion or other insult to the penis surfaces and tissue that interface with the catheter. One embodiment comprises 2 substantially identical elongated halves having longitudinal recesses and hinged together to close around the penis end and catheter providing the catheter support in a structure having improved comfort and wearability.

  • Patent number: 10966884
Abstract: Absorbent cores comprising a core wrap which comprises a liquid permeable substrate layer, the core containing from about 87% to about 100% of superabsorbent polymer and having a funnel-shaped swelling chamber. The area of the core is at least twice the area of the swelling chamber, and the core contains a water responsive immobilizing agent to immobilize the superabsorbent polymer prior to water insult. The funnel-shaped swelling chamber is a portion of the absorbent core containing superabsorbent polymer and delimited by continuous permanent seals. Two permanent continuous seals form first opposing funnel wall segments, wherein first opposing funnel wall segments collectively comprise a first chamber angle about 20° to about 120°, the first chamber angle being the sum of angles formed by each first opposing wall segment with respect to the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 10925775
Abstract: Absorbent articles herein may include components having graphics including unmasked and masked zones, wherein the masked zones are defined by alternating arranged printed and unprinted regions. The masked zones give the appearance that the graphics fade or gradually transition from areas of relatively high print intensities in the unmasked zones to areas of relatively low print intensities. In addition, the graphics may be printed with relatively constant print densities in both masked and unmasked zones, and thus, avoid many of the unintended negative effects and difficulties associated with printing graphics with faded zones of print intensities. As such, substrates and/or components to be incorporated into manufactured absorbent articles include graphics include masked zones that may be positioned and/or printed in such a manner so as to functionally reduce noticeable visible results of imprecise and/or inconsistent assembly operations performed in areas where the graphics are located.
