Abstract: The present invention concerns a method of connecting an item of dishware (1) to a contactlessly readable electronic information carrier (2) comprising the steps: providing the item of dishware (1), wherein the item of dishware (1) comprises a material selected from a group consisting of glass, ceramic and plastic or a combination thereof, and attaching the information carrier to the item of dishware. Contactlessly readable electronic information carriers applied to a self-adhesive carrier film are known. They can also be adhesively bonded to an item of dishware for identification thereof. In comparison according to the invention the above-mentioned method is further developed in that it further includes the steps: applying a cover layer of printing ink in such a way that the cover layer at least portion-wise covers a surface of the information carrier and the cover layer extends over a portion, which is not covered by the information carrier, on the surface of the item of dishware.

Abstract: A kinetic display has a base, and an elongated member pivotally attached to the base in the manner of a seesaw. A processor communicates with a data source such as the internet, obtains current values of dynamically changing data (such as the current value of a stock market index), and pivots the elongated member in response to changes in the data. Figurines which symbolize the monitored data, such as a bull and a bear (representing rising and falling stock market values), are respectively provided at opposing ends of the member. By observing the inclination of the elongated member, and/or the relative positions of the figurines thereon, a user can determine the current status of monitored data.
Abstract: A manufactured blow-molded log assembly created from a thermo-mold polymer that is shapable using a blow-molding process of inserting an ingot into a blow-molding tool and injecting heated gas into the ingot to substantially shape the ingot into the manufactured log. The log assembly may then be removed from the blow molding tool and painted. The log assembly can include one or more, but preferably, a plurality, of such manufactured logs. The process may be used to create a log assembly that includes multiple manufactured logs, connected together or produced separately and stacked or otherwise arranged to simulate the appearance of real logs, which can be positioned inside an electric fireplace.
Abstract: A handheld lighted stop sign apparatus for increased visibility and safety for traffic control includes a sign body having a sign front side, a sign back side, an octagonal sign perimeter, a pair of reflectors having a “STOP” lettering, and a handle. A rim extends from the handle and a plurality of LED lights is coupled within the rim. A battery is coupled within a handle cavity and is in operational communication with the plurality of LED lights. A battery charge port is coupled to the handle. The battery charge port is coupled to the sign body and is in operational communication with the battery. A power switch is coupled to the handle. The power switch is in operational communication with the battery and the plurality of LED lights.
Abstract: A Silicone Edge Graphics advertisement display device, comprising a plurality of three-pipe joints connected to a plurality of transverse pipes, vertical pipes and grooved pipes. The grooved pipes are v-shaped for receipt of an advertising canvas providing ease of set up and advertising canvas replacement.
Abstract: A visual display device creating various visual and audible effects from the motion of light particulate matter, such as beads of expanded polystyrene, comprising a chamber through which a stream of air flow is configured to agitate, fluidize, suspend, or float at least some of the beads. The device also includes a bead transport control subsystem to control the flow of some beads through a conduit from one region of a chamber in the device to another different region in the chamber of the visual display device. The bead transport control subsystem comprises the conduit and a second stream of airflow into or out of a portion of the conduit through a screened opening to prevent or create fluid-like flow of the beads through the conduit that is controlled at least partially independently from the first stream of airflow.
Abstract: A drone apparatus or arrangement is provided. The drone apparatus or arrangement includes a plurality of drone devices, each drone device including an unmanned vehicle configured to be controlled to hover in air at a desired height and move to a desired location, each drone device comprising a rechargeable battery connected to an exposed drone recharging surface, and a surface apparatus connected to the plurality of drone devices such that the plurality of drone devices are collectively controllable to reposition the surface apparatus to a desired location. Each drone device is configured to connect to and recharge at a compatible charging station including an exposed recharging station recharging surface configured to meet with one exposed drone recharging surface to recharge the rechargeable battery.
Abstract: A safety device includes a body configured for attachment to a structure. The body has a first layer and a second layer. The body is washable, reusable, and attachable to varying surface compositions. An indicia is formed in the first layer, the indicia providing visual stimuli for persons with impaired depth perception.
Abstract: Airfield guidance signs are described herein. One airfield guidance sign includes a first surface, a second surface angled with respect to the first surface, and a top edge adjacent the first surface and the second surface, wherein the top edge is rounded to reduce a pressure differential between the first surface and the second surface when a force is applied to the first surface or the second surface.

Abstract: A system of visual and non-visual marks for PVC pipes and couplings which allows users to group PVC pipes and couplings by type, size, and composition with a series of colors, shapes, swirls, patterns. The series of colors, shapes, swirls, patterns are applied to the PVC pipes and couplings by etching, painting, applying stickers, and or molding into the PVC itself. The non-visual mark utilize the magnetic and radio reflective nature of the marks to allow remote identification of the plumbing pipes and couplings after being buried.
Abstract: A physical currency card (in some cases without any on-board source of power or computing capabilities) is configured to maintain access information for digital bearer assets. Public access information, like a cryptographic hash address operable to receive digital bearer assets or a public key operable to derive a cryptographic hash address operable to receive digital bearer access, may be visible upon inspection of the card such digital bearer assets may be transferred to the card in one or more transactions on a decentralized computing platform, like a blockchain-based decentralized computing platform. Private access information, like a secret, private key that corresponds to the public key (e.g., a public-private key-pair) or a representation of the private key (like a ciphertext thereof) and corresponding encryption key, is physically concealed with tamper-evident components such that a user can readily determine whether the private access information was divulged.
Abstract: A light frame (10) that is accessible from one side, while mounted, in order to easily replace content being displayed. The frame (10) includes a transparent front panel (11), a frame (12), a rear panel (18) and a light guide panel (15). In use, the rear panel (18) and light guide panel (15) are displaceable, e.g. by a hinge or releasable connection, from the front panel or frame to provide access from the rear through the frame to content being displayed adjacent to the front panel. When hanging (e.g. by virtue of a cable system) in a shop window, the light frame can be opened from the rear side without having to disassemble it to replace content.
