Abstract: A blank assembly for forming a folded-cap container includes a first blank of sheet material that includes a pair of end panels, a pair of side panels, and a plurality of corner panels connected in series along a plurality of fold lines. Each of the end panels and side panels has a bottom edge that is substantially aligned with the respective bottom edges of the other end panels and side panels. Also, each of the four corner panels has a bottom free edge that is offset towards a central horizontal axis of the first blank from the bottom edges of the end panels and side panels. The blank assembly also includes a second blank of sheet material that includes a top panel and a lifting panel connected by a fold line. The top panel is configured to be coupled adjacent to a top edge of one of the end panels.

Abstract: A padded strap is provided, which comprises a unitary strap member forming a tube and an inserted pad. The unitary strap member has at least two sections, at least one of the sections configured to form a pad casing section which can retain the inserted pad, and the another section comprising a substantially flat section abutting the pad casing section. The area between the pad casing section and the substantially flat section comprises a hollow, tapering transition area. The unitary strap member comprises at least one sealable opening at an end of the unitary strap member. The inserted pad is inserted through the sealable opening and retained in the pad casing section, and the pad is comprised of at least one outer layer of resilient, low-friction material and a cushioning layer.

Abstract: An inmate locker incorporating a corrugated paperboard board having a generally three dimensional rectangular body with an open interior. The body includes a lid hingedly attached along an edge thereof, the lid including one or more window apertures which are covered by a flexible mylar or other plastic material adhered to outer or underside perimeter encircling edges of the lid. The lid further includes a fold over flap exhibiting at least one inter-engaging portion configured on an inner facing surface and which, upon closing the lid over an open top of the body, interengages with an aligning inter-engaging portion configured upon an exterior facing side location of the body. Handhold apertures are configured at overlapping locations of the fold over flap and side location of the body upon closing and sealing the lid over the open top.

Abstract: A package for containing items having a flip-open package closure is provided. In some embodiments, the package includes a rigid package body and a flexible closure flap. The flexible closure flap is coupled to a hangtab portion of the package body such that the flexible closure flap moves from a closed position to an open position with respect to the package body based on a position of the hangtab portion. An upper edge of a front side of the package body engages the lower portion of the closure flap when the package is closed, while the lower edge of the closure flap is released from the upper edge upon pivoting backward of the hangtab portion. Such pivoting of the hangtab portion, and corresponding manipulation of the closure flap, may occur without directly contacting the closure flap.

Abstract: A collapsible structure that includes an openable end panel, three foldable side panels, an openable side panel, a partial side panel, and a removable end panel. At least a portion of the foldable side panels, openable side panel, and partial side panel may be connected by seams which may permit the panels to fold into a hamper state, an ironing board state, a laundry bin, state, and collapsible state. The collapsible state permits the user to efficiently store the collapsible structure when not in use.

The box container additionally includes first and second side support components associated with the first and second side sections for reinforcing the first and second side support sections. Each corner section may include triangular corner or pleat panels divided by a diagonal or oblique fold line. The triangular corner or pleat panels may be folded in intimate face-to-face contact on the outer surface of the adjacent end panels. Some of the triangular corner or pleat panels may be adhesively secured to the outer surface the adjacent end panel.

The plate can also include an inner brim section adjacent the frustoconical sidewall and having a width (W), an outer frustoconical brim section extending downward and out from the inner brim section, an outer perimeter section extending outward from the outer frustoconical brim section, the plate having an overall diameter (D). The radius of curvature (R3) can be less than 0.20 inches, a ratio of W/D can be 0.041 to 0.050, a ratio of R3/D can be 0.010 to 0.017, and the outer frustoconical brim section can extend downward and outward at an angle (A3) of 65° to 75° with respect to a vertical that is substantially perpendicular to the bottom panel.

The display packaging may be assembled from the blank by folding and overlaying first and second regions on the middle region to form a folded blank and looping the folded blank.
Abstract: A packaging structure is an integral formed from a plate material. The plate material includes a main bending line, a first side plate and a second side plate. The first side plate includes a plurality of auxiliary bending lines and a plurality of first connecting sections. The second side plate includes a plurality of cut lines and a plurality of second connecting sections. The plate material is bent along the main bending line, and the first auxiliary bending lines of the first side plate and the cut lines of the second side plate are bent to allow the first side plate and the second side plate to surround and form a geometric accommodated space for placing an object. Further, an impact of an external force upon the object is reduced through the dual layer structure formed by the first connecting sections and the second connecting sections.

Abstract: A ladder loading system includes a base frame and a stowage frame, wherein the stowage frame is rotatable relative to the base frame. The stowage frame and base frame are connected at a least one pivot having a main pivot axis. The ladder loading system includes a linkage mechanism. The linkage mechanism includes an idler link that rotates about an idler axis. The linkage mechanism also includes a coupling means for coupling the idler link to the stowage frame. That is, the rotation of the idler link is linked to the rotation of the stowage frame in a master and slave relationship. Suitably, due to the operation of the ladder loading system, rotation of the stowage frame drives rotation of the idler link about the idler axis. The linkage mechanism further includes a control member connected between the idler link and stowage frame.
