Abstract: Enhanced macromixing, mesomixing, and micromixing of multiple discrete reactant streams, particularly for precipitation reactions of low density pumpable fluids, are obtained by controlled continuous high pressure multiple reactant streams flowing into a chemical mixer/reactor. Individual reactant streams are pressurized to about 8,000 to 50,000 psi and achieve velocities up to about 250 meters/second in the final stage of the chemical mixer/reactor. Reactant flows are controlled by a combination of a fixed restriction and a variable driving pump.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing compost, characterized in that when the compost is produced by inoculating aerobic composting seed bacteria to an organic waste material, the process comprises: supplying oxygen while the waste material is stirred, and supplying water so that the water content of the waste material is 60±5%, and to a process for producing compost, characterized in that when the compost is produced by inoculating aerobic composting seed bacteria to an organic waste material, the process comprises, after begining of the fermentation, adding sugars to the waste material in a divisional manner before a main fermentation is transferred to the amine/ammonium metabolic system. Further, according to the present invention, an apparatus for producing compost is provided.
Abstract: High-nitrogen, high-phosphorus fertilizer is produced from animal wastes by mixing the waste with water and soft-burned dolomite, recovering ammonia that is liberated with an aqueous acidic medium, neutralizing the mixture, combining the ammonium salt recovered earlier with the mixture, the adding guano-forming bacteria to the mixture, and allowing the mixture to ferment.

Abstract: The present invention provides a process for the production of the triple salt 2KHSO.sub.5.KHSO.sub.4.K.sub.2 SO.sub.4 from sulphuric acid, hydrogen peroxide and potassium hydroxide, wherein, for continuous production, an aqueous working solution which contains KHSO.sub.5, sulphuric acid and potassium sulphate in a molar ratio of 1.3 to 2.5/1.2 to 2.0/1, is concentrated in an evaporation plant under reduced pressure and at a temperature of maximum 40.degree. C. to a concentration which corresponds to a content of 20 to 30% by weight of KHSO.sub.5, a partial stream is removed from the concentrated solution and from this, by cooling to a temperature below 15.degree. C., the triple salt is precipitated and separated, the mother liquor obtained is combined with the remaining solution, the solution is reconstituted by the addition of 90 to 100% sulphuric acid, 30 to 90% hydrogen peroxide and concentrated aqueous potassium hydroxide solution and recycled to the evaporation plant.
