Abstract: A trigger mechanism for use in a crossbow comprises a housing having a first slot formed in a first side and a second slot formed in a second side opposite the first side. A trigger lever, a bowstring catch and a disarm mechanism are all moveably mounted in the housing. The catch has a first end configured to engage the trigger lever and a second end configured to retain the bowstring in a cocked position. The disarm mechanism is partially positioned in the second slot and is moveable between a fixed first position proximate the housing second slot toward a second disarm position toward the housing first slot. As the disarm mechanism moves from the first position into the second position, it engages the trigger lever causing it to move out of engagement with the catch first end allowing the user to release the bowstring using the bowstring cocking device from the trigger mechanism without having to engage the trigger.
Abstract: A trigger mechanism for use in a crossbow having a bowstring, the trigger mechanism comprising a housing having a slot formed therein, a trigger lever pivotally mounted in the housing and having a trigger that extends partially outside the housing, a catch pivotally mounted in the housing, and a disarm mechanism received in the housing that is moveable between a neutral first position and a disarm second position. The catch has a first end configured to retain the bowstring in a cocked position and a second end configured to operatively engage the trigger lever. When the disarm mechanism is in the disarm second position and the user draws the bowstring further into the housing slot, the trigger mechanism is configured to allow the catch to move from the catch first position into the catch second position without requiring the user to engage the trigger (e.g., squeezing or pulling the trigger).
Abstract: A toy construction craft utilizing construction elements including modular building blocks comprises a base plate, template, one or more graphic segments, and an optional frame. The base plate is a substantially planar building surface arranged with coupling studs for being interconnected with toy building elements having complementary coupling means. These designated blocks form the 3-D portion of the composition, while the graphic segment(s) augments the overall composition. The template may be a separate sheet disposed below the base plate or may be incorporated into the base plate. Additional accessories and specialized blocks are also provided.

Abstract: A tackle indicating assembly for flag football players includes a belt that is configured to position around and couple to a waist of a user. Each of a plurality of straps has a terminus that is configured to selectively magnetically couple to the belt. The straps are configured to be grasped in a hand of a tackler so that each strap is positioned to separate from the belt to indicate a tackle of the user.
Abstract: Golf club heads include an iron type golf club head body having a rear surface (e.g., a perimeter weighting member) that defines a first weight receiving portion, and a weight member is mounted in the first weight receiving portion. The club head body further defines a second weight receiving portion independent of the first weight receiving portion, and a second weight member is removably engaged with the golf club head body at this second weight receiving portion. The weight members may be interchangeably mounted in the two weight receiving portions to thereby allow selective placement of the center of gravity characteristics of the club head body. Golf clubs including these club heads and methods of making such golf club and golf club heads also are described.
Abstract: A sports training safety system (100) and method of operation (2000) thereof includes: a training dummy (105); a magnetic release (160) attached to the training dummy (105); a delivery carriage (150) mounted to the magnetic release (160); a delivery rail (130) for supporting the delivery carriage (150); and a transport system (165), attached to the delivery rail (130), for moving the delivery carriage (150) and the training dummy (105) along the delivery rail (130).
Abstract: Gaming systems and methods facilitate integrated real and virtual game play among multiple remote control objects, including multiple remotely-controlled aircraft, within a locally-defined, three-dimensional game space using gaming “apps” (i.e., applications) running on one or more mobile devices, such as tablets or smartphones, and/or a central game controller. The systems and methods permit game play among multiple remotely-controlled aircraft within the game space. Game play may be controlled and/or displayed by a gaming app running on one or more mobile devices and/or a central game controller that keeps track of multiple craft locations and orientations with reference to a locally-defined coordinate frame of reference associated with the game space. The gaming app running on one or more mobile devices and/or central game controller also determine game play among the various craft and objects within the game space in accordance with the rules and parameters for the game being played.

Abstract: Described herein include various implementations of a ball funneling net that can capture sport balls, such as baseballs, directed into the ball funneling net. The ball funneling net can include a ball directing feature, such as a funnel, and a releasable restraining element that controls the sport balls from being released from the ball capturing net, such as from a distal dispensing end. In some implementations, a user can pick up a part of the ball directing feature and release the releasable restraining element thereby allowing any sport balls captured in the ball capturing net to exit the distal dispensing end. For example, the ball funneling net described herein can improve training efficiency in sports, such as baseball and softball, as well as reduce damage to equipment and improve user experience.
Abstract: A toy vehicle system includes a toy vehicle, a remote-control transmitter and a control unit. The toy vehicle includes a drive with at least two drive motors and at least two roller elements. The roller elements are mutually independently driven rotationally about respective axes of rotation via the drive motors. The toy vehicle further includes at least one steering mechanism for adjusting the directions of orientation of the axes of rotation relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Input signals of the remote-control are fed into the control unit. The control unit generates output signals that act on the drive and the steering mechanism. In the operating method, the control unit carries out a computational driving simulation and generates therefrom control output signals such that the toy vehicle carries out a vehicle movement according to the computational driving simulation under the action of a virtual operating frictional force.
Abstract: A modular building block system and method. A set of pieces are formed with interlocking pegs and holes allowing the creation of structures. One such structure that can be made is a cube which can be attached using the pegs and holes to identically formed cubes. The cubes have panels of which custom artwork can be printed on them, thereby enabling complex scenes to be created using only the cubes.
