  • Patent number: 5438160
Abstract: A header receptacle (10) which is protected against moisture and both conducted and radiated electromagnetic interferences. A flange (12) has a cured in place first sealant (20) disposed on the back side (14) of the flange wherein the first sealant (20) covers an opening in the center portion (16) of the flange (12). A metal shield (21) covers the first sealant (20) and is in electrical contact with the flange (12) by a conducting adhesive (18) which also adheres the metal shield (21) to the flange (12). An electromagnetic filter (26) is mounted adjacent to the metal shield (21). A plurality of spaced-apart male terminals (25) pass through the filter (26), the metal shield (21) and the first sealant (20). Each male terminal (25) is joined to the filter (26) to prevent exit/entry of electromagnetic interferences. A housing (30) is disposed on the center portion (16) on the front side (13) of the flange (12). The housing (30) contacts the first sealant (20) and forms a waterproof seal therebetween.

  • Patent number: 5276278
Abstract: A housing of ceiling fan control circuit board is composed of a body and a cover plate. The body is provided respectively at both ends of a longitudinal axis thereof with a recessed arcuate portion extending upwards and obliquely from a bottom plate of the body, and with a protruded arcuate portion extending uprightly from the recessed arcuate portion. The body is further provided respectively at both ends of a short axis thereof with an anterior plate and a posterior plate, which form, in conjunction with the recessed arcuate portion and the protruded arcuate portion, a shape so similar to a boat hull as to fit securely into a receiving space of a suspension cup of a ceiling fan. The body contains a space formed by a plurality of stopping wings, the anterior plate and the posterior plate for mounting therein the circuit board and electronic elements.

  • Patent number: 5250752
Abstract: An easily assembled and dis-assembled knockdown EMI/RFI shielded electronic rack enclosure incorporating the structurally cooperative use of squaring bracket assemblies for the squared unitized corner joining of adjacent vertical side wall frame to horizontal top and bottom frame components and thereby substantially eliminate the distortion effects of racking forces, as well as the use of joining clamps for the unitized assembly connection of top and bottom enclosement panel components respectively to the opposing side enclosement panel components and thereby additionally substantially eliminate EMI/RFI shielding leaks resultant from mechanical shock forces.
