  • Patent number: 11196679
Abstract: A method for optimizing network device resources that includes receiving, by an optimizer, first resource utilization data, making a first determination, based on the first resource utilization data, that resource utilization exceeds an upper threshold, starting, based on the first determination, an optimization process, that includes identifying a resource optimization entry of a resource class optimization queue, and initiating optimization of a resource fragment specified by the resource optimization entry. After initiating optimization of the region of the memory, the method additionally includes receiving second resource utilization data, making a second determination, based on the second resource utilization data, that the resource utilization is below a lower threshold, and halting, based on the second determination, the optimization process.

  • Patent number: 11178359
Abstract: An example electronic device for conducting conference calls includes a memory to store a user profile including first identifying information of a first participant in a conference call. A receiver receives second identifying information of the first participant from a transmitting device associated with the first participant. The first identifying information and the second identifying information form an identifier for the first participant. An audio encoder receives an audio signal. A processor, in response to determining which transmitting device is nearest to a source of the audio signal relative to other transmitting devices, identifies the first participant as a source of the audio signal, and combines the identifier for the first participant with the audio signal generated by the first participant. A router forwards the combined identifier and audio of the first participant to a receiving device of a second participant in the conference call.

  • Patent number: 11178034
Abstract: A resilient network call management framework that automatically detects slow Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) at downstream dependent applications based on constantly measuring and monitoring the response time coming from such applications. Once a slow API has been identified, the framework provides the capability to temporarily shut down (otherwise referred to herein as, “short-circuit”) the network call path associated therewith until the monitoring determines that the response time is back to an acceptable level (i.e., returns to a healthy status). Implemented in conjunction with a shared services server hosting different service applications, processing by the framework may be limited to only those service applications or network calls deemed non-critical, such that, critical service applications or network calls are not subjected to being shut down regardless of response time.

  • Patent number: 11159384
Abstract: Described herein are methods, network devices, systems, and computer-readable media that provide a technical solution for runtime monitoring and visualization of intent-based network policies in a manner that bridges the gap between high-level insights from runtime and low-level network device configurations. A network topology and a plurality of network configurations can be received in an intent-based network and a number of monitoring spots available within the network topology for runtime monitoring of an intent-based network policy among a plurality of intent-based policies can be determined. A plurality of runtime constraints including one or more of time, resource capacity, and bandwidth demand can then be determined based on the network topology and the plurality of network configurations.

  • Patent number: 11140094
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for a resource stabilization in a distributed network. A computing device in a distributed network may check the median value of a transactional resource in relation to a specified external resource. The computing device in the distributed network may compare the median value of the transactional resource to a threshold value for the transactional resource to determine whether the median value of the transactional resource is above the threshold value or below the threshold value. The supply of the transactional resource in the distributed network may be increased in response to determining that the transactional resource is above the threshold value or may be in response to determining that the transactional resource is below the threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11128593
Abstract: Techniques for event-based electronic communications management. In one embodiment, for example, the techniques include obtaining a directed graph representing a messaging track. Based on detecting an event pertaining to a user, the directed graph is traversed via a directed edge of the graph from a non-messaging action node of the graph to a messaging action node of the graph. Based on traversing the directed graph, the messaging action is caused to be performed. The techniques enable more targeted and timely event-driven electronic messaging campaigns.

  • Patent number: 11115457
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform methods for mitigating HTTP transaction errors for a data connection. The wireless device may establish a data connection over a first network interface of the wireless device at an HTTP layer of the wireless device. A transport connection may support the data connections and may support multiple HTTP transactions. An advisory signal may be received at the HTTP layer and, responsive to the advisory signal including first information, the HTTP layer may determine that at least a portion of the HTTP transactions can be (safely) retried. The HTTP layer may terminate, without notifying the application layer, the portion of HTTP transactions and may initiate, via a second transport connection established over a second network interface, retries of the first portion of HTTP transactions.

  • Patent number: 11068851
Abstract: Message display control means updates and displays messages sequentially on a message list screen each time message receiving means receives a message. When input detection means detects a response message, identification means identifies the latest message at the time of detection and the response message. Response message sending means sends the response message as a response to the identified message to other participants upon completion of input of the response message. Therefore, even in the case where the message list screen is updated due to receiving the subsequent message during the input of the response message, the completed response message is able to be sent back to the response object message.

  • Patent number: 11050704
Abstract: Various embodiments relate generally to data science and data analysis, computer software and systems, and control systems to provide a platform to facilitate implementation of an interface, and, more specifically, to a computing and data storage platform that implements specialized logic to enhance speed and distribution of content in electronic messages as a function, for example, modifiable portions of the content. In some examples, a method may include identifying a performance metric values assigned to one or more portions of an electronic message, determining an equivalent to a portion of the electronic message to enhance a performance metric value, substituting the equivalent in place of the portion to form an adapted electronic message, and receiving data to set, for example, a time at which the adapted electronic message is to be published.

  • Patent number: 11050798
Abstract: An example method of blockchain-enabled peer-to-peer communications is provided. The method is implemented in a communications system employing a peer-to-peer call network to provide communications capabilities between endpoints (nodes) of the call network. The system supports a distributed ledger system which enables the propagation of signaling data to initiate communications between nodes and for recording call data to provide an open, tamper-resistant log of activity on the network. Further, the system supports decentralized applications executable at nodes of the call network to customize call handling based on user preferences. In particular, the system may further support a distributed file system associated with the call network to store internal state data of the decentralized applications. The decentralized applications may thus be executed on individual, relevant nodes of the call network (i.e. relevant to the communications channel).
