Abstract: Systems, modules, and methods set forth herein may allow patient satisfaction to be improved. One system for improving patient satisfaction includes computer readable media, an output device, a processor in data communication with the computer readable media and the output device, and electronic instructions that, when executed by the processor, perform steps for: (a) automatically storing event data from a plurality of electronic devices in the computer readable media; (b) storing perception data obtained from a plurality of patients in the computer readable media; (c) accessing the event data; (d) accessing the perception data; (e) determining at least one correlation between the event data and the perception data; (f) determining at least one proposal to improve patient satisfaction based on the at least one correlation; and (g) actuating the output device to convey the at least one proposal to improve patient satisfaction.

Abstract: A system for routing a trading order to a market center comprises a memory and a processor. The memory stores a trading order specifying a trading product. The processor determines a plurality of market center prices for the trading product, each market center price associated with at least one of a plurality of market centers. The processor selects one of the plurality of market centers based upon the determined market center prices. The processor further determines a disclosure policy for the selected market center and routes the trading order to the selected market center according to the determined disclosure policy.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for a job resource planner for cloud computing environments are disclosed. A system includes a plurality of resource instances of a provider network, and a resource planner. The planner receives a plan request from a client, comprising a job goal and an indication of a resource acquisition policy to be used to obtain resource instances for the job. The policy specifies one or more instance data sources. The planner generates a resource acquisition plan for the job, based at least in part on an analysis of pricing data obtained from a specified data source. The analysis comprises one or more computation steps indicated in the policy. The generated plan includes at least one recommended acquisition price for a resource instance.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods, systems and software for managing software license annuities. The method relates to monitoring renewal revenue, including developing a forecast of renewal revenue, for each of one or more customers, using a customer database; contacting some of the customers to obtain customer profile data; assisting each of the contacted customers to select a renewal option using the customer profile data; modifying the forecast for each of the contacted customers based on the renewal option selected by that customer; and comparing the forecast and the customer's actual renewal purchases to monitor renewal revenue. The followings methods are also disclosed: a computer-implemented method of modelling renewal options, a method of managing annuity renewals, a method of modelling annuity renewals, and a method of displaying customer compliance with a licensing scheme. Systems and software for performing any of the mentioned methods are further disclosed.

Abstract: A data transaction is associated with a plurality of remote data sources so that a score may be generated that characterizes the transaction. The remote data sources are polled to obtain partial scores which can be used by a decisioning system to score the transaction. In some implementations, different scoring models may be used so that the data source is notified which scoring model to use when generating the partial score. Related techniques, apparatus, systems, and articles are described.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing fuel consumption for vehicles. A set of inconsistencies is identified on a number of vehicles in a plurality of vehicles. The set of inconsistencies has an effect on the fuel consumption by the number of vehicles. A predicted fuel consumption is identified for the number of vehicles based on the set of inconsistencies. A determination is made as whether to perform rework on the set of inconsistencies on the number of vehicles based on the predicted fuel consumption for the number of vehicles.

Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes sending bankruptcy notification messages to a plurality of creditors. The bankruptcy notification messages notify the creditors that various debtors have filed for bankruptcy. Requests are received from the plurality of creditors to file proofs of claims for debts owed by the debtors to the creditors with bankruptcy organizations. The requests are aggregated from the plurality of creditors, and the proofs of claims are filed with the bankruptcy organizations.

Abstract: An electronic method of auditing floorplan loans is provided. The floorplan loans are provided by a lending source to a plurality of vehicle dealers. The method includes, for each of the plurality of vehicle dealers, an entity other than the lending source or a dealer (i) retrieving the lending source's records corresponding to the dealer's floorplan loan; (ii) retrieving the dealer's internal financial records used by the dealer for tracking sales; (iii) comparing the lending source's records with the dealer's internal financial management records to determine a variance between the lending source's records and the dealer's records; and (iv) reporting the variance to the lending source.

Abstract: A method and system for paratransit run-cutting is provided. A target number of paratransit vehicles is determined for each of a set of time intervals. A target number of trips corresponding to the target number of paratransit vehicles is generated for each time interval, each of said mock trips being defined such that a vehicle performing one of said mock trips in one of said time intervals is able to perform any of said mock trips in an immediately subsequent one of said time intervals. The target number of mock trips for each of the time intervals is entered into a fixed-route transit run-cutting application. Paratransit runs are created using fixed-route transit runs generated by said fixed-route transit run-cutting application.

Abstract: An exemplary method includes a fiber to the premises (“FTTP”) network modeling system assigning a cost factor to each of a plurality of street segments within a geospatial polyline map of a fiber optic network service area, receiving input representative of a geospatial location of each of a plurality of FTTP demand sites, automatically determining a least cost path along one or more of the street segments for each of the FTTP demand sites to a central office included in the FTTP network in accordance with the assigned cost factors, automatically determining a demand associated with each street segment included in the plurality of street segments; and automatically determining a geospatial location and a size of a plurality of fiber distribution hubs to be included in the FTTP network. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for workforce scheduling by a computer system is provided. The method includes receiving a first workforce schedule describing initial assignments of a plurality of workers to a plurality of shifts, each shift comprising one or more work activities, each work activity comprising an activity and a time interval, and storing the first workforce schedule in a memory. The method also includes receiving a cell size associated with each activity, and determining a quantity of workers in each work activity associated with each activity in the first workforce schedule. The method further includes determining cell size violations by dividing the quantity of workers assigned to each work activity by the cell size for the activity associated with the work activity. The method also includes modifying the first workforce schedule to minimize cell size violations, resulting in a second workforce schedule, and storing the second workforce schedule in the memory.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for dynamically producing and managing events are disclosed. In various embodiments, an event sequence generator is used to generate a production schedule or script that includes content elements and event milestones. Methods of generating a production schedule and a promotion schedule are also disclosed. The production schedule and reports based on the event can be produced and accessed remotely.

Abstract: An on-line interactive and partner-enhanced credit card application system is disclosed. The system utilizes partner-supplied data of an applicant in credit decision. The system structures an on-line credit card application interactively with a tree-type series of questions and answers such that the next set of questions are based on the answers given. The system offers an appropriate bounty to a partner by the credit card issuer based on the data supplied by the partner and obtained during the interactive questions and answers. The system enables a credit card issuer to make an optimum product offer such as pricing and credit line assignment. The system offers commercial incentives, and utilizes the partner-supplied data during a statement process to generate further revenue and ensure cardholder retention.

Abstract: The discovery cost forecasting system uses incomplete information to generate forecasts of discovery expenses. Models are generated with different levels of granularity depending upon the available facts and user preferences. An expert provides real-time information to improve the accuracy of the predictions. A scenario analysis is generated that evaluates how changes to the parameters of the matter could affect the forecasted cost. An estimate is generated of the degree of advancement of the matter in its lifecycle as part of the cost forecast. The cost associated with each data source and custodian is tracked and reported. A configurable and extensible cost equation is defined. A dashboard user interface is generated to monitor the entire portfolio to extract easy to understand facts, trends, and early warning signs related to discovery cost management.

Abstract: A method of tracking entities for identity resolution in database systems comprises assigning each account of a plurality of accounts a unique entity belonging only to the account and in which the account is contained; keeping track of the age of each account of the plurality of accounts; and assigning an identifier to any entity as the identifier of the unique entity of the oldest account contained in the entity. This simple method of assigning identifiers to accounts and entities solves a number of identity resolution problems known in the art including: lost entity identifier problem, lost entity version problem, entity switched warm bodies/accounts problem, and account drift problem.

Abstract: A method of selecting potential hires for progression through a hiring process is provided. The method comprises selecting at least one performance indicator for a position, obtaining the at least one performance indicator for a plurality of incumbents in the position, and placing each incumbent in the plurality of incumbents along a performance continuum according to their performance indicator. The method also comprises surveying incumbents from at least both halves of the performance continuum, generating an ideal profile for the position based upon the incumbent survey and the at least one performance indicator of the incumbents, using a survey to generate a candidate profile of a potential hire, comparing the candidate profile of the potential hire with the ideal profile to determine a result for the potential hire, and determining whether to progress the potential hire to a next stage in the hiring process based upon the result.

Abstract: Share of Wallet (“SOW”) is a modeling approach that utilizes various data sources to provide outputs that describe a consumers spending capability, tradeline history including balance transfers, and balance information. These outputs can be appended to data profiles of customers and prospects and can be utilized to support decisions involving prospecting, new applicant evaluation, and customer management across the lifecycle. A SOW score focusing on a consumer's spending capability can be used in the same manner as a credit bureau score.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for providing efficient planning through analyzing data. One process includes operations for generating a business object containing parameters and plan data of a business plan, the plan data represented by a plurality of aggregation levels. A change to a particular item in the plan data is identified, the change associated with a particular aggregation level. The change to the particular item is automatically propagated to a lowest level of granularity of the plan data, and the change to the particular item is available to each of the plurality of aggregation levels.

Abstract: A method for managing performance of an IT service delivery process to ensure the changes meet service performance objectives. Key performance metrics (KPIs) of a service delivery process are collected in a continuous manner at defined time intervals, both before a change to improve performance is applied to the process (baseline measurements) and after a change is applied to the process (post-change measurements). A process behavior graph is generated comprising each baseline and post-change performance measurement at the time interval collected, the time interval at which the change was applied to the process, and the performance objectives for the process. The graph is displayed to a user to enable the user to determine the impact the change has on the service delivery process in view of differences between the baseline and post-change performance measurements, and to determine whether the process meets performance objectives in view of the performance objectives.
