Abstract: A mechanism is provided to ensure the same user plane anchor point is selected as a User Equipment (UE) moves across multiple access networks. The selected User Plane Function (UPF) identifier information, such as a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) is passed to the UE anchor points. This will allow the UE anchor points to exchange the already selected user plane information so that the new UE anchor point can choose the same UPF.

Abstract: A mobile device that can optionally communicate with a server, the mobile device including latitude/longitude determining capabilities, a display, a data communication system and a power source. The mobile device can be used to communicate, provide location information, track an individual, as well as allow alerting, such in a case of an emergency. This location information could be accompanied with one or more of video information, audio information, multimedia information, and pictures taken by the mobile device. The mobile devices also allow inner-communicability among the devices such as text messaging, chat, voice communications, and the like. The capabilities of the mobile device can also be used to determine if the device has traversed a geo-fence, or defined electronic perimeter, with the crossing of the perimeter capable of triggering special functionality such as the turning on of the mobile device, or smart phone, sending an alert, altering functionality, or the like.
Abstract: A terminal detection method obtaining current first position information of a terminal, where the first position information indicates that a position where the terminal is currently located is a first position and, when the first position information does not match second position information stored in the terminal, obtaining a first direction vector between a target base station and the terminal, where the target base station is to be accessed by the terminal. A current first normal vector of an antenna array plane of the terminal is obtained. A first target vector according to the first direction vector and the first normal vector is determined. The first target vector instructs the terminal to search for a signal transmitted by the target base station in a direction of the first target vector. The method and related terminal may be applied to the process of the terminal accessing the target base station.
Abstract: The disclosure relates a method comprising: determining that buffered data is available for transmission and cannot be transmitted over allocated resources; and causing information indicating that buffered data is available for transmission and cannot be transmitted over allocated resources to be transmitted over the allocated resources.
