Abstract: A pizza slice container includes an upper member having an upper surface; a lower member having a bottom surface and at least one sidewall, the lower member attached to the upper member by at least one hinge, wherein the upper surface and the bottom surface are opposed. The upper member includes at least one retention spike extending from the upper surface of the upper member toward the bottom surface of the lower member. The lower member includes at least one retaining tab extending substantially perpendicular from a sidewall of the lower member; and at least one rib extending from the bottom surface of the lower member toward the upper surface of the upper member. The upper and lower members are movable with respect to one another between an open position and a closed position. Other embodiments of the pizza slice container, and methods for its use, are described herein.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a folding carton designed to accept a retractable panel. The retractable panel may contain written information that should stay with or otherwise connected to the packaging, rather than on a folded leaflet inserted inside the carton that may be displaced. The panel may be pulled from its fully inserted/retracted position (within the carton) out to an extended position, where the panel displays the information. Even in the extended position, however, the panel stays secured with the carton.

Abstract: A combination container and latch is provided. The container comprises a body, a lid hingedly attached to the body and a pivoting latch that minimizes the possibility of the latch becoming entangled in the lid or damaged. The latch is moveable between a locked position in which the latch is distended and extends vertically upward within a body recess and a lid recess to engage a locking post, and an open position in which the latch is relaxed and extends horizontally within the body recess. The container and latch are designed so that the latch never extends beyond the container footprint.

Abstract: A coin holder device 12 that includes a transparent front sheet 20 that contains receptacles 18 and first and second major surfaces 28 and 30. The receptacles 18 are recessed into the sheet 20 to project out from the second major surface 30. A backer sheet 22 has first and second major surfaces 32 and 34 and openings 36 that extend through the sheet 22. The openings 36 correspond in location to the receptacles 18 in the front sheet 20. The backer sheet 22 is removeably positioned over the receptacles 18, enabling the second major surface 30 to be juxtapositioned against the first major surface 32. The first major surface 32 has coin indicia 38 proximate the openings 36 indicative of the coin to be placed in the respective receptacle 18. The coin holding device is beneficial in that it allows custom-tailored coin holders to be supplied easily over the internet.

Abstract: Vial containers including a collar which is attached to a vial or incorporated into a vial cap, a cap designed to receive a portion of the collar while covering the vial, and a container designed to receive a portion of the collar and encase the body of the vial are described herein. The collar, generally, includes a means for reversibly attaching to the cap and container.

Abstract: An improved trash container having a base, a rear partition wall, and a front partition wall hingedly attached to the base to enable the front partition wall to pivot and rotate forward away from the rear partition wall. The trash container further incorporates a bracket member that connects the front partition wall and the rear partition wall, enabling the front partition wall to transition amongst a closed position, an extended position and a releasing position. In a closed position, the base, front partition wall and rear partition wall are connectively aligned and together define an internal cavity for holding a trash bag. In an extended position, the front partition wall is pivoted forward of said base and separated from direct contact with the rear partition wall to enable efficient and hassle-free removal of a filled trash bag from the container.

Abstract: The invention is directed toward a protective sleeve for a comic book comprising a substantially rectangular pocket comprising a front cover panel and a back cover panel, a substantially rectangular flap portion extending from the back cover panel comprising a first crease, an inner panel portion, a second crease, and an outer panel portion. The outer front panel portion has an adhesion area. The pocket has an adhesive strip disposed on the back cover panel. The front cover panel has an opening through which the cover of a comic book can be disposed. The front cover panel is folded over from the back cover panel. The flap portion may be wrapped around the pocket such that the inner front panel portion covers the front cover panel, the outer front panel portion covers the back cover panel, and the back cover panel is secured to the adhesive strip.

Abstract: An oral care kit (1000) including a package (100), a toothbrush (200) positioned within the package and a backer card (300) comprising a window aperture (30). The oral care kit provides the user with the ability to view a portion of the toothbrush, such as the head (210), from both the front and rear of the package while maintaining the package in an enclosed state. In one embodiment of the invention, the package comprises a front cover (101) comprising a substantially transparent window portion (130) and a rear cover (102) comprising a substantially transparent window portion (120), the rear cover coupled to the front cover to form a receiving cavity (115). The backer card is positioned within the receiving cavity between the toothbrush and the rear cover so that the window portion of the rear cover, the window aperture (301) of the backer card, a portion of the toothbrush, and the window portion of the front cover are transversely aligned.

Abstract: A double-barreled beverage container is described. The container includes two mugs, glasses, or similar-shaped drinking containers joined together alongside one-another, with at least one hole at or near the bottom of the glasses passing between the two drinking containers at the junction. In this way, as a person drinking from one of glass of the beverage container tips the container upward, a beverage flows from the uppermost glass through the hole into the lower glass from which the person drinks. The double-barreled beverage container employs a whimsical but functional device for party or other use reminiscent of a “two-fisted drinking” activity, wherein a person holds a glass or mug in each hand and alternates drinking from each container. The double-barreled beverage container enables one who wishes to drink from two glasses at once to drink from a single device.

Abstract: A toothbrush having a handle and a head in a display package is described. The head is attached to a neck which is attached to the handle. An indication element is between the head and the handle and is in electrical communication with a power source. A switch connects the indication element to the power source and has a first position where the indication element is not energized and a second position where the indication element is energized. An adequate force applied to the head and an at least partially translucent package body moves the switch to the second position. The package body has a first face and a second face. The first face and/or the second face have a rugose area configured to facilitate application of a force to the head and/or neck through the package body to place the switch in the second position.

Abstract: The reusable packaging box includes a bottom unit that has a receiving space in which a product may be received, a lower body and an upper body that are provided to each have a box shape with open top and bottom to be coupled to a top of the bottom unit, and a lid that has a receiving space in which the product may be received and is coupled to the top of the upper body. Each of the bottom unit, the upper body and the lower body, and the lid is formed of a material that may absorb an impact and thus may perform both a function of absorbing an impact and a function of packaging an outside of the product.

Abstract: The disclosure describes various stackable corner protector configurations. The corner protectors can have curved lateral surfaces that allow the corner protectors to be decoupled from a photovoltaic module to which they are coupled to by rotating one end of the corner protectors away from the object. This removal process works even more efficiently with multiple stacked corner protectors as the stacked corner protectors can be concurrently removed from the object by rotating the stacked corner protectors away from the object together. The corner protector can also include one or more attachment features for securing the corner protector to the object. For example, when the corner protector is installed on a photovoltaic module, the attachment feature can engage a lip defined by a recess or channel of the photovoltaic module.

A bend line extends between two adjacent sides of the base to define a corner portion of the base that accommodates the lifting tab when the container is closed forming a child-resistant opening mechanism. The bend line facilitates bending of the corner portion of the base to gain access to the lifting tab.
