  • Patent number: 10846886
Abstract: A system for registering one or more cameras and/or creating an accurate three-dimensional (3D) model of a world space environment including back projecting at least one image from at least one of a plurality of camera views to the 3D model based on a set of existing camera parameters. The back projected image is added as a texture for the 3D model. This texture is automatically compared to one or more images from other camera views using a color space comparison of images to determine a set of differences or errors. The camera parameters and the 3D model are automatically adjusted to minimized the differences or errors. Over time, the parameters and the 3D model converge on a state that can be used to track moving objects, insert virtual graphics and/or perform other functions.

  • Patent number: 10785404
Abstract: An information processing method obtains location information indicating a location of a moving body at a time of detection of occurrence of a predetermined event that triggers recording of a photographic image acquired by photography using a photographic apparatus installed on the moving body. Then, the method determines whether or not the location indicated by the location information is a location where the driver is estimated to have visited a plurality of times, based on at least one of action history information indicating action history of a driver of the moving body and related-person information regarding a related person of the driver. Finally, the method controls to record the photographic image, according to the determination of whether or not the location indicated by the location information is a location where the driver is estimated to have visited a plurality of times.

  • Patent number: 10743007
Abstract: A video data stream is rendered reducible in a manner so that the reduction leads to a restriction of pictures of the reduced video data stream to merely a predetermined subarea of the pictures of the original video data stream and in a manner so that transcoding, such as re-quantization, may be avoided and a conformance of the reduced video data stream relative to the codec underlying the original video data stream be maintained. This is achieved by providing the video data stream with information including an indication of the predetermined subarea and replacement indices for redirecting the indices included by the payload portion so as to refer to, and/or replacement parameters for adjusting the first set of coding parameter settings so as to result in, a second set of coding parameter settings.
