  • Patent number: 11423091
Abstract: Systems and methods are described that employ machine learning models to optimize database management. Machine learning models may be utilized to decide whether a new database record needs to be created (e.g., to avoid duplicates) and to decide what record to create. For example, a match machine learning model may be used in combination with an in-database machine learning model and an out-of-policy machine learning model. The match machine learning model may calculate a probability that a newly received database record individually matches respective candidate database records identified in a local database, the in-database machine learning model may calculate a probability that the received database record is in the local database, and the out-of-policy machine learning model may be used to calculate a probability that the newly received database record complies with inclusion rules of the local database.

  • Patent number: 11372930
Abstract: Disclosed herein are enterprise applications and platforms that manage databases containing documents and may employ search systems that allow users to retrieve documents based on queries. The search systems may be configured to retrieve data from several different data sources and may be associated with many of the applications. Furthermore, the search systems may include a faceted interface based on database or document attributes for further search refinement. The faceted interface may be template-based and modular, allowing reconfiguration of the interfaces without substantial rewriting of the application code base.

  • Patent number: 11341110
Abstract: A hierarchy is a multi-level linked structure of nodes, wherein the hierarchy represents data relating to a set of one or more items to be processed. Where there are multiple input hierarchies, it may improve the efficiency of the processing of the items to merge the input hierarchies to form a merged hierarchy. The hierarchies are merged by identifying two or more sub-hierarchies within the input hierarchies which are to be merged, and determining one or more nodes of the merged hierarchy which reference nodes of the identified sub-hierarchies. The determined nodes of the merged hierarchy are stored and indications of the references between the determined nodes of the merged hierarchy and the referenced nodes of the identified sub-hierarchies are also stored. In this way, the merged hierarchy is formed for use in processing the items.

  • Patent number: 11334567
Abstract: Embodiments generate random walks through a directed graph that is represented in a relational database table. Each row of the graph table represents a directed edge in the graph and includes a source vertex and a destination vertex. Each row is further augmented to (a) indicate the number of outbound edges starting from the destination vertex in the row and (b) include an identifier that distinguishes the edge from other outbound edges starting from the same source vertex. An SQL query may be executed on the augmented graph table. Starting from a source vertex (starting vertex or the destination vertex of the previously selected hop) the query randomly selects a row of the graph table representing one of the outbound edges from the source vertex and adds the selected outbound edge as a row in a random walk table that represents the next hop in the random walk.

  • Patent number: 11328328
Abstract: Methods and systems for arranging hyperlinks on a graphical user-interface (GUI) of a computerized system include receiving, via the GUI, a user selection to display a plurality of hyperlinks, the hyperlinks corresponding to one or more nodes of a first set. The methods and systems further include determining, by a processor, a rank of each hyperlink in the plurality of hyperlinks. Determining a rank includes constructing a first bipartite graph between the one or more nodes of the first set and one or more nodes of a second set, the first set and the second set being mutually exclusive, wherein edges of the first bipartite graph are weighted according to a first criterium and constructing a second bipartite graph between the one or more nodes of the first set and the one or more nodes of the second set, wherein edges of the second bipartite graph are weighted according to a second criterium, different from the first criterium.

  • Patent number: 11294921
Abstract: The example embodiments are directed to a system and method which can perform a text-based search for a temporal data pattern in time-series data. The text-based search process is significantly faster than a distance measurement-based search performed based on temporal pattern comparisons. In one example, the method may include storing previously recorded temporal patterns of time-series data, determining a set of optimal bin boundaries based on the previously recorded temporal patterns, where the set of optimal bin boundaries divide the observed range of time-series data into a plurality of discrete bins each labeled with a respective symbol, transforming the previously recorded temporal patterns of time-series data into symbol strings based on the set of optimal bin boundaries, where a symbol string is based on data points in the plurality of discrete bins, and storing the symbol strings within a symbol storage.

  • Patent number: 11294891
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing an interactive search session. The interactive search session is implemented using an artificial intelligence model. For example, when the artificial intelligence model receives a search query from a user, the model selects an action from a plurality of actions based on the search query. The selected action queries the user for more contextual cues about the search query (e.g., may enquire about use of the search results, may request to refine the search query, or otherwise engage the user in conversation to better understand the intent of the search). The interactive search session may be in the form, for example, of a chat session between the user and the system, and the chat session may be displayed along with the search results (e.g., in a separate section of display). The interactive search session may enable the system to better understand the user's search needs, and accordingly may help provide more focused search results.

  • Patent number: 11288125
Abstract: An interface between an existing local file system and a data store generates and exports to the data store a versioned file system. The state of the local file system at a given point in time can be determined using the versioned file system. In operation, the interface creates and exports to the data store structured data representations, which correspond to versions of the local file system, as well as actual file system data that these structured data representations represent. A cache associated with the interface stores recently used data and metadata, as well as all write data and metadata waiting to be transferred to the data store. Prior to transfer, one or more data transformations may be applied to the data and metadata. In one embodiment, the data store comprises one or more cloud storage service providers. A content control system is used to configure and manage the interface.

  • Patent number: 11281680
Abstract: Scoring candidate evidence passages for criteria validation. Evidence data associated with a criteria, such that the evidence data entries include a decision indicator indicating that the criteria is either met or not met by the evidence data, is collected. Candidate evidences, making up a corpus of data associated with the criteria, against which the criteria is to be validated, are generated. Each candidate evidence is evaluated against the evidence data. A score indicating the validity of the criteria with respect to the candidate evidence is generated, based on the decision indicators associated with the evidence data entries.
