  • Patent number: 8984678
Abstract: An air injection system for a hydro-massaging bath is described. An air convecting conduit is in communication with a plurality of injecting orifices formed in a peripheral wall of the bath. An air blower injects air under pressure in an entry opening of the air convecting conduit. A water spray injector is located downstream of the entry opening and upstream of the air injecting orifices to inject a spray of a predetermined volume of water in the injected air under pressure. A water supply conduit is connected to the water spray injector and has a flow regulating valve to regulate the volume of water spray injected in the heated air to saturate the air with water. A shut-off valve is provided in the water supply conduit, and a heater is disposed in the air convecting conduit downstream of the water spray injector and upstream of the air injecting orifices wherein heated, humidified air injected in the water contained within the bathtub does not produce a cool sensation on the body of a user person.

  • Patent number: 8516624
Abstract: An artificial surfing facility for producing a standing wave, with an inclined ramp, to the upper end of which water is conveyed by at least one pump and at the lower end of which the water discharges into a wave pool. A standing wave is easily attained by there being an adjustable guide device in the wave pool at a distance from the bottom end of the ramp in the flow direction as a wave initiator. The wave pool, during operation of at least one pump, has a liquid level which is located above the liquid level of a main pool which surrounds the wave pool and the amount of water in the wave pool offers a defined resistance to the water flowing down the ramp so that the formation and height of the standing wave are influenced by the change of the flow velocity.

  • Patent number: 7296586
Abstract: A gas-regulating unit for regulating an internal gas pressure in a gas-tight liquid-storage tank is mounted on the gas-tight tank in which stored liquid is sealed from outside atmosphere by covering a top surface of the stored liquid with an isolating-gas. The gas-regulating unit includes a main gas-exhausting unit and an isolating-gas regulator. The main gas-exhausting unit includes an exhaust valve for opening and exhausting gases from the gas-tight tank when an internal gas pressure in the gas-tight tank increases to more than a specified level. The isolating-gas regulator supplies the isolating-gas when an isolating-gas pressure decreases to less than a specified level. The main gas-exhausting unit and the isolating-gas regulator are integrally coupled with each other.

  • Patent number: 7077788
Abstract: A cushion device for treadmills includes a frame with two rails and a deck has an end pivotably connected to two respective first ends of the two rails of the frame. Two tubes are connected to the two rails of the frame and two activation rods axially extend in the two tubes and are restrained to only can spin relative to the tubes. Each of the two activation rods has a nut member threadedly connected thereto and a slide member is slidably mounted thereto. A spring is mounted to each of the two activation rods and biased between the nut member and the slide member. Two cables have two respective first ends fixed to the slide members and two respectively second ends of the two cables extend through each tube, reeve through the lower pulley and the upper pulley and are fixed to the first end of the deck.
