The system assures that private information is retained private and the blockchain records immutable data that is used for compliance checking and performance analytics.

Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product provide a method for managing a decentralized venture capital (“VC”) fund in a decentralized autonomous organization (“DAO”) configured to use a secure communication environment. The method includes securing authentication information, including user authentication information. The securing of the authentication information includes using a public key in the process to encrypt the authentication information and then decomposing the authentication information into subcomponents that are distributed randomly across a plurality of member computers. The method further includes recovering the authentication information by recombining the authentication information from its subcomponents then using a private key in the process to decrypt the authentication information.

Abstract: Methods, systems and articles of manufacture for efficiently calculating an electronic tax return, such as within a tax return preparation system. A computerized tax return preparation system accesses taxpayer-specific tax data from a shared data store. The system executes a tax calculation engine configured to perform a plurality of tax calculations based on a tax calculation graph and the taxpayer-specific tax data from the shared data store. The system is configured to perform only the calculations in the tax calculation graph which are changed by new taxpayer-specific tax data received since the preceding tax calculation executed by the tax calculation engine. The system may also determine whether the new taxpayer-specific tax data does, or does not change the calculated tax return and the reason why.

Abstract: A system for avoiding an access conflict between a plurality of devices that access an IC module. The system includes a first device and a second device that can access an IC module used in an electronic money system. The second device has the function of detecting waves having a predetermined pattern to indicate that the first device is accessing the IC module. These waves may be continuously generated from the first device or may be continuously generated from another device installed near the first device, and when the second device detects the waves having the predetermined pattern, the second device refrains from accessing the IC module. This allows the system to implement autonomous conflict control between a plurality of devices that access the IC module that does not have an adequate conflict control function without providing a special control circuit.

A change is detected in a connection of one of the connection lines to a different one of the origination points or to a different one of the destination points. As a result of the change in the connection, a cash flow between end points of the one of the connection lines is updated and displayed on the display screen.
