    Abstract: A rotary stamper includes an upper die plate assembly, a lower die plate assembly, and a support frame having a drive assembly that moves the upper die plate horizontally and vertically along a generally circular pathway while moving the lower die plate along a linear horizontal pathway. The upper die plate is vertically slidably connected to the lower die plate by way of one or more vertical rods that extend from the lower die plate assembly up through the upper die plate. In operation, the lower die plate matches the horizontal movements of the upper die plate as the latter is moved along its circular pathway. Concurrently, the upper die plate moves towards and away from the lower die plate. This maintains a substantially constant alignment between the die plates for carrying out a periodic machining operation on a moving web of material passing there between.

    Abstract: A square tubing swager is an electromechanically operated swaging machine for square steel tubing powered by an electric motor whose mechanical output is connected to a clutch assembly which operates an angle worm drive. The output of the angle drives dual two strand sprockets. These sprockets are connected through a series of roller chains and additional sprockets which drive four cam cross shafts. These cam shafts are set in four corresponding slide blocks assemblies within a jaw mount. The invention would be provided with various sized jaws for various sizes of square steel tubing. During use, the steel stock is inserted within the jaw area and the motor energized. The jaws then form the steel stock inward allowing the deformed area to be inserted within the hollow cavity of undeformed steel stock of the same size.

While being subjected to vacuum below atmospheric pressure, the vessel (12) is rotated to homogenize the moisturized organic material. The organic material can be moisturized by non-potable water including moisture collected by a moisture collector (44b) in the conduit (44a) between the vessel (12) and the vacuum pump (44) and by chilled feed water acting as the seal fluid in the vacuum pump and heated while flowing through a heat exchanger (148) of the moisture collector (44b). Heat can be added by a heater (46) to raise the temperature of low ambient temperature moisturized organic material.

    Abstract: A press for processing organic waste has two plungers. Preferably, the plungers have rectangular cross sections. The two plungers are mounted in the press such that they are perpendicular to each other and have partially overlapping stokes. The press has walls that partially enclose a pressing chamber. The pressing chamber is as wide as one plunger on one side, and as wide as the other plunger on another side. In operation, one of the two plungers is used to optionally load organic waste into the pressing chamber, to partially enclose the pressing chamber while the waste is compressed, and to eject compressed waste from the pressing chamber. The other plunger is used to compress waste in the pressing chamber whereby a pressate is produced through perforations in a wall of the pressing chamber. The other plunger may also partially enclose the pressing chamber while compressed waste is ejected.
