Abstract: A mounting, positioning, and deployment system for the sonar head of a sonar survey system facilitates rapid, accurate, and repeatable alignment of the sonar head in relation to the keel of a marine vessel. Precision and stability are enhanced with refinements to a cross tube positioning apparatus, and further enhanced with an adjustable Z-pole mount and an extruded aluminum Z-pole embodied as, or encased in, a drag-reducing foil.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for an antenna positioning apparatus, which includes a multiple-assembly positioner for adjusting a positioning angle about a positioning axis. The multiple-assembly positioner has two or more positioning assemblies that are coupled in series between a base structure and a positioning structure. Positioning assemblies can be individually selected based on various criteria, such as cost, complexity, angular range, and other performance, and be configured to work together to provide a desired range of adjustment to the positioning angle while simultaneously meeting precision requirements. In one example, a positioning assembly can include a shaft with an eccentric portion, which is rotated in order to provide the adjustment. A method is described where a first positioning assembly can be actuated to a first initial position, and then held, such that a second positioning assembly can be actuated to provide a selected antenna positioning angle.

Abstract: A folding handheld device holding system comprises a connecting arm with a connection section which includes an adhesive. An extension arm is connected to the connecting arm by a hinge having a hinge pin. The extension arm extends outwardly from the hinge and connecting section and includes a holding section having a recess therein that receives a cover and at least one magnet therein. In one arrangement, the at least one magnet consists of a plurality of magnets. A device, such as a smart phone or a tablet, is connected to the folding handheld device holding system.
Abstract: Road and curb partition bracket assembly comprise front and rear clamp brackets and a channel mounting bracket. Each partition bracket is drawn together by a bolt across a respective vehicle B-pillar for mounting a partition across an interior of a vehicle. The mounting of the partition bracket assembly with the partition attached is accomplished without disturbing an exterior or an interior of the B-pillars, or any contents therein on either side of the vehicle.
Abstract: A support structure including a turntable, support platform, and a set of ramps. The ramps and support platform provide support for a vehicle such as a motorcycle, snowmobile, or the like. The entire apparatus swivels by means of the turntable at 360°, and the apparatus also has a set of retractable wheels which enable the apparatus to be rolled across a horizontal surface.
Abstract: A retractable bracket for mounting one end of a window shade, venetian blind or mini-blind to the head jamb of a window. The retractable bracket is mounted in an aperture within the window head jamb so as to be substantially flush therewith when in an inoperative mode. The retractable bracket includes a bracket arm that can be adjusted by means of an actuator screw so as to be urged from a first inoperative retracted position to a outwardly and downwardly extended operative position. The bracket arm includes a plurality of spaced-apart apertures therein to which a bracket for a window shade, venetian blind or mini-blind may be selectively secured when the bracket arm is in its extended position. If the window shade, venetian blind or mini-blind is removed, the actuator screw can be rotated in an opposite direction in order to retract the bracket arm upwardly and inwardly into the retractable bracket so that the retractable bracket is again substantially flush with the window head jamb.
Abstract: A variable length sign holder includes a base having a sleeve including a first end, a second end and a socket extending from the first end toward the second end, as well as a plate to which the second end of the sleeve is secured. A slot extends longitudinally along an exterior periphery of the sleeve and communicates with the socket. A pair of enlarged openings are located on the sleeve exterior periphery. The pair of openings are longitudinally spaced along the slot. A support member cooperates with the base. The support member includes a shaft which is slidably mounted in the socket of the base sleeve. The shaft has a first end, a second end and an outer periphery on which is located a lug. The lug cooperates with one of the pair of enlarged openings located on the sleeve exterior periphery.
Abstract: A shelf rack such as for storing both men's and womn's shoes including a stack of shelf angles, a shelf angle being a pair of rectangular panels joined along a common edge and each shelf angle having a pair of bar members adapted for hanging shoes with high heels on side edges of the shelf angle. In one embodiment, the rack is structure of wooden panels and rods. The panels are hinged to fold together against a central panel for storage. In another embodiment, the rack is heat formed from a blank plastic panel. The heat formed panels may be stacked for convenient storage.
Abstract: A universal clamp assembly for remotely placing a motor flushing device over the water inlet ports of an outdrive of a marine motor from either above (twelve o'clock position), below (six o'clock position), to the right (three o'clock position), or to the left (nine o'clock position) of the motor to direct clean, fresh, water through the inlet ports to flush the interior of the motor. In a second embodiment of the universal clamp assembly as depicted in FIG. 3, the universal clamp assembly comprises a first, generally T-shaped, clamp member including a foundation for securing a motor flushing device thereto in a first orientation; and a second, generally Y-shaped, clamp member including a foundation for alternatively securing a motor flushing device thereto in a second orientation. When assembled, the foundation of the first clamp member is in a plane generally perpendicular with the foundation of the second clamp member.
Abstract: A modular system is capable of storing and displaying up to N compact disk cases or other types of similarly sized, cases having at least one slot on each of two spaced apart, parallel peripheral edges. A modular unit includes a frame supporting N pairs of spaced cantilevers projecting outward from a front side of the frame, N being at least one. Each of the N pairs of cantilevers includes a first cantilever and a second cantilever, each of the first cantilever and second cantilever having a stop surface facing the stop surface of the other and a tab projecting from the stop surface, wherein the first and second cantilever can cooperatively grip one of the cases when the tabs are inserted in the first slot and the second slot.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a mail box mounting device comprising a lower body having mounting means such that the lower body can be mounted on a support structure and an upper body rotatably engaged to the lower body, such that the upper body can be rotated without rotating the lower body, and having fastening means such that a mail box can be fastened thereto. The present invention also has positioning means such that the upper body automatically returns to certain positions with respect to the lower body when the upper body is not being rotated.
Abstract: A bag opening support and expander assembly is provided having a flexible support body member capable of being bent and retained in an arcuate form by an adjustable, flexible tension and connector member or means. The bag opening support and expander assembly is operable to support and retain an open end section of a flexible refuse bag member facilitating inserting of refuse material. A variety of support means are provided including elements for receiving and supporting the bag opening support and expander assembly and interconnected open end section in a generally elevated horizontal condition while supporting the bag member in a downwardly depending condition.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for mounting and dismounting an overhead bowling scoring monitor. The method includes positioning a support member at the overhead location for the bowling scoring monitor and providing a lifting mechanism having an elongated lifting member and a force-producing member for extending and retracting the lifting member. The lift mechanism is attached to the bowling scoring monitor and to any stationary member above the monitor and the force-producing device is operated in order to retract the lifting member to raise the overhead bowling scoring monitor into proximity with the support member, or to pay out the lifting member to lower the overhead bowling scoring monitor from the support member. Preferably, the support member is a rigid frame which is substantially horizontally planar. The rigid frame may include at least two spaced apart parallel tubular members in a manner that the elongated lifting member extends from the elongated body between the two tubular members.
Abstract: A golf bag stand which can support a golf bag carrying golf equipment in an inclined position while it is at rest. A hinge block comprising a pair of T-shaped holes firmly holds support rods inserted therein. The support rods are unfolded in the form of a tripod and are firmly held within said holes so as to bear the heavy weight of the golf bag. A V-shaped connecting rod and a resilient means are provided for serving to spread the supporting rods when in use and for pulling them into a carrying position.
Abstract: A clamping mechanism for attaching a clamping base to a surface is disclosed. The preferred clamping base is elongated and has a longitudinal channel for receiving a fastener, preferably a screw. The fastener frictionally holds the clamping base to a surface. The clamping base further includes a hole having a slot for stable mounting of objects under study. The diameter of the hole is variable and is actuated by a clamping screw extending through a cavity in the clamping base.
Abstract: An extension for supporting a leg of a table to increase a distance of the table from a ground surface. The inventive device includes a receiving tube within which a leg of a table can be positioned. An abutment plate is mounted within the tube and engages the table leg to support the leg in a spaced relationship relative to a lower end of the tube. An adjustment assembly can be provided for permitting selective manual adjustment of the table height.
Abstract: A merchandise display system includes a support member and a locking bar. The support member, which may include a series of slotted rails, is adapted to receive display enclosures having an internal display space for displaying merchandise. Each display enclosure includes at least one locking tab which serves to support the enclosure on the support member and which cooperates with the locking bar to prevent removal of the enclosure from the support member when the locking bar is in a first position and to permit removal of the enclosure when the locking bar is in a second position. In a second embodiment of the display system a display rack is mounted in a frame. The display rack includes first and second spaced apart, substantially parallel side members. A plurality of separators are slidably coupled intermediate the first and second members and include retaining means, such as lips or flanges for engaging and retaining merchandise positioned between the separators.
