Abstract: A holding device includes a case. A base includes a placement portion for placing an article, and a fixture holding portion provided on one end side of the placement portion, and is rotatably attached relative to the case through a pivot support portion. A slider is slidably attached to the base, and includes a movable holding portion for releasably holding the article between the movable holding portion and the fixture holding portion. An urging member urges the slider. A positional control device is provided between the base and the slider, and releasably locks the slider in an arbitrary position when the slider slides against an urging force of the urging member. A placement-angle holding device is provided between the base and the case, and holds the base at a predetermined placement angle relative to the case in conjunction with sliding of the slider against the urging force of the urging member.

  • Patent number: 9033296
Abstract: The multi-purpose drapery rod assembly uses unique rod and bracket construction to provide a superior platform for both single and layered drapery. A single-drapery rod cooperates with bracket to attach to surfaces at nearly any angle, and is easily converted to either a Type 1 dual-drapery rod which layers accent drapery to the side and in front of primary drapery without a view-obstructing front rod, or to a Type 2 dual-drapery rod which layers fully-drawable primary drapery in front and to the sides of secondary drapery. Types 1 and 2 are easily converted to the other due to modular construction. Both display drapery from the back, front, and along the sides by connecting the back and front with curved sections between them. The assembly can also be motorized, connecting to an existing traverse rod and converting to a dual-drapery rod when desired.

  • Patent number: 8967581
Abstract: A seat connector which connects a vehicle seat with a base support, and method of connecting the same. The set connector has a base interface which connects to the base support, and a seat interface which connects to the vehicle seat. Both interfaces cooperate together by having the seat interface slide along the base interface. Both during and before this sliding engagement, the weight of the seat interface and the attached seat are supported by the base interface and other weight supports. Upon completing the sliding engagement, the vehicle seat is temporarily in a locked position where movement of the vehicle seat in all directions relative to the base support is restrained, even without the use of mechanical fasteners to secure the connection. The vehicle seat is then secured to the base support with mechanical fasteners. The vehicle seat can be removed from the base support by sliding the vehicle seat in a rearward direction along the base interface.

  • Patent number: 8944391
Abstract: A hand operated mount 100 is disclosed which can be mounted into the roof of a vehicle, vessel, or building and used to accurately control from inside the vehicle, vessel or building various types of devices that can be externally mounted on it, such as spotlights 127, cameras 110, heat measuring devices 123, listening devices 129, loud speakers 130, water canons 150, guns 118, and other type devices that are necessary to aim. The horizontal axis remains on a horizontal plane and rotates 360 degrees uninterrupted. The vertical axis rotates 180 degrees. The two axis of movement gives the ability to aim mounted devices in any direction. Power is supplied though an electric disc and rod eliminating the restriction of a wire that would prevent 360 degree uninterrupted rotation. Vertical and horizontal brakes and adjustable resistance allows ease of use and the ability to lock the mounted devices in position.
