Abstract: An electronic cigarette includes: an atomizer, defining a liquid storage chamber formed therein; a heating element, communicated with the liquid storage chamber; a power supply, configured for supplying power; a controlling unit, one end of the controlling unit electrically connected with the power supply, the other end thereof electrically connected with the heating element; and a capacitive transducer electrically connected with the controlling unit. Two electrodes are disposed inside the liquid storage chamber for determining an amount of the tobacco liquid in the liquid storage chamber. A using method includes: conducting the electricity and controlling the heating element to atomize the tobacco liquid in the liquid storage chamber; detecting an amount of the tobacco liquid in the liquid storage chamber via the capacitive transducer. When the detected amount of the tobacco liquid reaches a preset value, the electronic cigarette emits alert information or cuts off the electricity.

Abstract: An elastic locking mechanism, an atomizer for an electronic cigarette, and an electronic cigarette are disclosed. The elastic locking mechanism includes an upper cover removably arranged on an opening end of a liquid storage assembly, a screw cap sleeved outside the upper cover, an upper engagement component arranged on the screw cap, a lower engagement component arranged on the upper cover, and an elastic element mounted between the screw cap and the upper cover to prevent the upper engagement component and the lower engagement component from engaging each other. When the screw cap is pressed down or pulled up, the elastic element is compressed or stretched so that the upper engagement component engages the lower engagement component, and the upper cover is driven to rotate together with the screw cap by rotating the screw cap.

Abstract: A tap-off box includes a latch that automatically secures the tap-off box to a busway upon insertion of a mast into the busway. The latch is in the form of a single spring-loaded member that latches onto a rail as the masthead is pushed into the busway. A push button actuated camming member pushes the latch away from the rail to enable the masthead to be withdrawn from the busway. The push button and camming member are independent of the mechanism that extends and retracts the contacts while the masthead is inserted and latched into the busway. The tap-off box may also include non-contact current monitoring sensors with voltage sensing inserts that an auxiliary breaker switch in applications other than a tap-off box, and an infrared emitting faceplate that can be adapted for monitoring a variety of breakers from outside the tap-off box.
