  • Patent number: 11974559
Abstract: A fishing aid includes a housing with a hollow interior, an actuator being coupled to the housing, and an elevator. The elevator being in a pivotal connection with the housing and being in a coupling connection with the actuator, such that the elevator is configured, through the actuator, for a reciprocally pivotal movement in a vertical direction when the fishing aid is being pulled in a linear direction through a body of water by a line connected to the housing. The reciprocal pivotal movement of the elevator causes a movement of the fishing aid in a non-linear pattern through the body of water. The fishing aid can be used on a surface of the body of water or can be fully submerged with an aid of a downrigger.

  • Patent number: 11950577
Abstract: A system for preserving or establishing an ecosystem comprises an assembly coupled to a guidance component. An assembly comprises an enclosure and a substrate, and is configured to contain one or more organisms within the enclosure. The guidance component causes the assembly to be transported to a destination environment. The assembly is decoupled from the guidance component. The assembly detaches from the substrate, to integrate the one or more organisms into an ecosystem of the destination environment.

  • Patent number: 11950582
Abstract: A pet bowl is provided that comprises a housing defining a water container, a proximity sensor located proximate to the water container, the proximity sensor having conductive circuitry comprising a first circuit made of a first metal and a second circuit made of a dissimilar second metal, and a controller processing signals received from the proximity sensor, the controller selectively switching the conductive circuitry between a first configuration operating as the proximity sensor to sense water contained in the container and a second configuration operating as a thermocouple to sense temperature proximate to the water container.

  • Patent number: 11944085
Abstract: An insect repelling system utilizes a vehicle, and includes: a position information acquisition unit configured to acquire and provide vehicle position information, an interface unit configured to display species-based frequency ranges that insects avoid and to allow a user to select one of the displayed frequency ranges, a controller configured to perform control such that the interface unit displays the species-based frequency ranges that are avoided by insects that can be repelled at the current position of the vehicle based on the vehicle position information acquired by the position information acquisition unit and to generate and output a control signal for outputting a sound having the frequency selected through the interface unit, and a sound generation device configured to output the sound having the frequency by the user according to the control signal output by the controller.

  • Patent number: 11779011
Abstract: A migratory bird decoy wing assembly for use with a migratory bird decoy includes an elongate shaft extending in a straight line between a first end and an opposite second end and a first flexible flag. The first flexible flag is adapted to be flappingly displaceable relative the elongate shaft. The migratory bird decoy wing assembly also includes an elongate shaft mounting device constructed to removably mount the elongate shaft on a body of the migratory bird decoy so that the elongate shaft extends perpendicular to the surface of the migratory bird decoy body and flapping movement of the first flexible flag produced by wind simulates the movement of a bird flapping its wing.

  • Patent number: 11716988
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a decoy apparatus comprising: a body (or structure) shaped to resemble at least a portion of an animal resting on water and a weighted member operationally attached to a motor such that the weight can be redistributed so cause the decoy apparatus to move to a feeding position in which a portion of the decoy body, preferable the head portion, is tipped under the waterline and the opposing portion is raised in the air.
