  • Patent number: 11132183
Abstract: This disclosure involves development and deployment platforms for decision algorithms. For example, a computing system provides software development interface to a client device. The system sets, based on an input from the client device via the interface, a decision engine to a test mode that causes the decision engine to operate on test data stored in a first database and that prevents the decision engine from applying operations from the client device to production data stored in a second database. The system also configures the decision engine in the test mode to execute a different decision algorithms on the test data. The system also sets, based on another input via the interface, the decision engine to a deployment mode that causes the decision engine to operate on the production data. The system configures the decision engine in the deployment mode to execute one or more of the tested decision algorithms.

  • Patent number: 11132746
Abstract: A directed order process and related market center system are disclosed, wherein a market center system grants permission to order sending firms to send directed order flow to participating designated market makers. Such designated market makers create a virtual guarantee order book for each permissioned order sending firm. If an order sending firm sends a directed order to the market center that is marketable against a virtual guarantee order, then the market center system automatically pairs the orders in a two-sided directed cross order instruction, which executes against any superior interest in an electronic marketplace before crossing, all while maintaining anonymity amongst the parties.

  • Patent number: 11120508
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a hail history storage device may store information periodically received from a remote third-party weather reporting service. A hail history score request associated with a geographic location and a date range may be received from a remote requester device. Responsive to the received hail history score request, a computer processor of a hail history server may automatically access information in the hail history storage device based on the geographic location and date range. Moreover, the computer processor may automatically evaluate accessed information to calculate a hail history score value. The computer processor may then transmit, to the remote requester device, historical hail evaluation data including the calculated hail history score value.

  • Patent number: 11120432
Abstract: A system includes a database, a memory, and a processor. The database stores an account that includes a first, second, and third subaccount. The memory stores a profile specifying a level of anonymization and a level of account access. The processor receives a request for a transaction. The request is associated with the profile. In response, the processor determines a set of subaccounts for the transaction including the first subaccount and the second subaccount. Determining the set of subaccounts for the first transaction includes determining that the profile permits access to the first, second, and third subaccounts, and that the transaction costs associated with the transaction are minimized by using the first and second subaccounts to perform the transaction. The processor additionally generates a virtual account from the set of subaccounts, anonymizes, based on the level of anonymization, the virtual account, and performs the transaction using the anonymized virtual account.

  • Patent number: 11113689
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for transaction auditing. One example method includes receiving receipt data associated with an entity. Policy questions associated with the entity are associated with at least one policy question answer that corresponds to a conformance or a violation of a policy selected by the entity. For each policy question, a machine learning policy model is identified for the policy question that includes, for each policy question answer, receipt data features that correspond to the policy question answer. The machine learning policy model is used to automatically determine a selected policy question answer to the policy question by comparing features of extracted tokens to respective receipt data features of the policy question answers that are included in the machine learning policy model. In response to determining that the selected policy question answer corresponds to a policy violation, an audit alert is generated.

  • Patent number: 11107156
Abstract: Presenting a framework for digital finance based on the notion of a unified digital expression to value and identity which carries this value—advancing beyond the standard form of digital finance where value (a number) is expressed without any coin, or bill identity. The solution is based on ordered financial bits (fbits) which may be comprised of ingredient fbits, or of elemental fbits which are qbits—real or simulated. As such this solution (BitMint) is ready for quantum computing when it materializes commercially. A BitMinted entity carries its terms of exchange, and redemption; it may carry its transactional history, and apply equally to cash, credit and investment instruments. It allows full operational flexibility to its controllers who mint and redeem it. The BitMinted entity, BitMint “coin”, or simply “coin” will keep transacting even if the Internet is slow, or jammed. The coin may be cut to any small denomination desired, or lumped to any large sum of interest.

  • Patent number: 11107162
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for predictively determining a risk of damage to a property are provided. To determine the risk, a high resolution virtual model of a region that includes the property is obtained. The virtual model is imported into a simulation environment. One or more of the simulation parameters are set based on historic weather data for the region. For example, each parameter may be associated with a probability distribution derived based on the historic weather data that is sampled prior to executing the simulation. One or more simulations are executed in accordance with the sampled inputs to simulate the likely weather patterns the property will experience. The result of the simulation is analyzed to determine the predicted risk of damage to the property.

  • Patent number: 11100506
Abstract: A system and method for programmatically revealing misleading confidence values in Fraud Score is presented to protect artificial intelligence models from adversarial neural networks. The method is used to reduce an adversarial learning neural network model effectiveness. With the score manipulation implemented, the adversary models are shown to systematically become less successful in predicting the true behavior of the Fraud detection artificial intelligence model and what it will flag as fraudulent transactions, thus reducing the true fraud dollars penetrated or taken by adversaries.

  • Patent number: 11100505
Abstract: Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of systems and methods for facilitating services associated with transaction requests. In an exemplary embodiment, a method generally includes receiving, from a first entity, a transaction request for a payment account transaction. The transaction request includes a primary account number (PAN) for a payment account involved in the transaction. The exemplary method also includes overwriting the PAN in the transaction request with a non-PAN identifier (NPI), where a first segment of the PAN is identical to a first segment of the NPI and where the NPI is an invalid PAN. The exemplary method further includes routing the transaction request to a service, whereby the service is able to be implemented for the transaction request based, in part, on the first segment of the NPI while the PAN remains anonymous to the service.

  • Patent number: 11087334
Abstract: Stolen identity refund fraud is one of a number of types of Internet-centric crime (i.e., cybercrime) that includes the unauthorized use of a person's or business' identity information to file a tax return in order to illegally obtain a tax refund from, for example, a state or federal revenue service. Because fraudsters use legitimate identity information to create user accounts in tax return preparation systems, it can be difficult to detect stolen identity refund fraud activity. Methods and systems of the present disclosure identify and address potential fraud activity. The methods and systems analyze data entry characteristics of tax return content that is provided to a tax return preparation system to identify potential fraud activity and perform one or more risk reduction actions in response to identifying the potential fraud activity.

  • Patent number: 11069011
Abstract: A facility for facilitating processes for acquiring intellectual property assets (“assets”) is described. In some embodiments, the facility enables an organization operating the facility to generate a budget for a proposed acquisition of assets. The organization may include multiple entities that are together interested in acquiring the assets. The entities may each provide values for the assets, either by applying rules that automatically attribute values to the assets, by having human analysts manually analyze the assets to estimate their values, or by some combination of these two techniques. The facility generates the budget based on the values determined for the assets. A person or team of people responsible for the proposed acquisition of assets can use the budget in negotiations to acquire the assets. If the assets are acquired, the facility can allocate acquisition and post-acquisition expenses among the entities on whose behalf the assets were acquired.
