A terminal fitting is arranged on a base of a housing, a conductor portion is inserted into a tubular portion of a conductor connection portion, and a lid portion is assembled on the base. The conductor portion is tightened by the tubular portion, and the conductor connection portion is connected to the conductor portion. Therefore, a dedicated machine is not required to connect the terminal fitting to an electric wire, and operation of connecting the terminal fitting to the electric wire and of accommodating the terminal fitting in the housing can be performed substantially simultaneously.
